Plants would not able to undergo photosynthesis without rubisco, which is a powerful tool in phylogenic analysis, species diversity estimates, varietal identification and population analysis. Transformation is a parasexual method of introducing new genes into an organism. pGEM- T and pGEM –T easy vector, containing multiple cloning region, flanked by recognition sites for the restriction enzyme EcoR1 and Not I, are employed for cloning PCR product and to transform bacterial strain E. coli JM- 109 which is deficient in B- galactosidase activity due to deletion in both genomic and episomal copies of lacZ  gene. Ampr and lacZ gene are used for recombinant selection. On the other hand cloning of the gene for sequence divergence amongst species and genera is also a powerful tool in comparison to direct sequencing of PCR product. The rbcL isolated from two cultivars indigenous (A) & exogenous   (B), separately. In both the cultivars the sequence of rbcL gene found more or less similar either cultivars taken from greenhouse (A)or from field (B). after sequencing, rbcL probe may be used for screenable related taxa as well as the taxa which have the low photosynthetic rate, the insertion of rbcL gene through recombinant DNA technology or other recent similar technologies, in higher amount may increase photosynthesis rate. Resulting this the crop may be improved either for qualitative or quantitative traits

Cultural Integration of Inter-State Migrants in Asansol, West Bengal

    Get PDF
Migration brings about changes in the cultural traits of both migrants and the receiving society. This becomes even more crucial, especially for India, which is characterised by rich cultural diversity and substantial inter-state migration. Cultural integration is the strategy of cultural exchange wherein one community incorporates changes without sacrificing its own culture and thus, pave the way for a more stable and harmonious society. Migration in Asansol dates back to the early 19th Century when the newly set up coal mining and the subsequent industrial development generated the demand for labour. Migrants brought with them a distinct culture which had to be reconstructed in the new cultural setup. This study is an attempt to understand the phenomena of cultural and psychological integration of the migrants in Asansol. A descriptive method has been employed to comprehend the migrants’ adaptation and the consequent socio-cultural changes.  A sample of 370 individuals has been taken to explore the migrant’s outlook toward integration with the larger society. Emphasis has been laid upon the way the migrants reconstruct themselves, appraise their perception, and adopt the dominant cultural traits. The study reveals that the migrants have immensely influenced the culture of the region under investigation

GRACEFUL FAILURE HANDLING SCENARIO FOR N40 ONLINE CHARGING

Within a 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) fifth-generation (5G) environment, in the event of a failure in a core network a prime approach of any operator is to provide seamless service to a subscriber. Techniques are presented herein that support the delivery of seamless service to a subscriber in the event of such a failure. The presented techniques provide a mechanism for reconciling subscriber usage in an automated way without the need for a propriety solution, which becomes difficult when a Session Management Function (SMF) and a Charging Function (CHF) are provided by different vendors, thus raising an interoperability challenge

Menopause is an essential phase of women’s life. Essentially, human female experiences different phases pertaining to the reproductive system and hormonal status these phases are prominently as follows. Childhood phases (0 to 12 year) menstrual phase (12 to 45±4 years) menopausal face (45 to 50±years) and post menopause (50 to till end of her life). Menopause is complete cessation of menstrual cycle at least for a year. Menopausal phase causes many hormonal, physical, physiological, emotional and psychological changes in humans female. These changes are prominent in the reproductive system and hormonal profile. Menopausal state of women indicates the end of her reproductive period with other associated changes. Majority of women get disturbed physiologically, emotionally and psychologically. Menopausal woman develops the feeling of end of her sexual life and women hood. This paper reviews the state and perception of menopause, misconception regarding end of sexual life, better management of menopausal state and how menopause could be new the beginning of happier life physically, mentally, physiologically and sexually
