In this study, calcium phosphate based implant materials were modified and adapted to the requirements of different generative manufacturing processes. Human bone tissues were analyzed to investigate whether there is a dependency of the calcium to phosphorus ratio within the hard tissue from the age of the donors. It was hypothesized that synthetic calcium phosphates could be modified to the age of a patient using such a correlation, to enhance bone healing. Phase pure calcium phosphates were synthesized and modified by the incorporation of strontium into the atomic lattice. The synthesized materials were adapted to the process of powderbed-based 3D-printing by the development of calcium phosphate-bioglass granulates. Adaptions to the processes of dispense plotting and slip casting into 3D-printed wax molds were achieved by the combination of the calcium phosphates with organic additives. The results were discussed in a materials-based scientific context
