Isovector soft dipole mode in 6Be
By using the 1H(6Li,6Be)n charge-exchange reaction, continuum states in 6Be
were populated up to E_t=16 MeV, E_t being the 6Be energy above its three-body
decay threshold. In kinematically complete measurements performed by detecting
alpha+p+p coincidences, an E_t spectrum of high statistics was obtained,
containing approximately ~5x10^6 events. The spectrum provides detailed
correlation information about the well-known 0^+ ground state of 6Be at
E_t=1.37 MeV and its 2^+ state at E_t=3.05 MeV. Moreover, a broad structure
extending from 4 to 16 MeV was observed. It contains negative parity states
populated by Delta L=1 angular momentum transfer without other significant
contributions. This structure can be interpreted as a novel phenomenon, i.e.
the isovector soft dipole mode associated with the 6Li ground state. The
population of this mode in the charge-exchange reaction is a dominant
phenomenon for this reaction, being responsible for about 60% of the cross
section obtained in the measured energy range.Comment: 8 pages, 7 figure
Sleep breathing disorders in children with bronchopulmonary dysplasia
Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), the most common chronic lung disease in young children in developed countries, contributes to the long-term neurological prognosis of premature infants. Due to respiratory control immaturity preterm infants are at higher risk of sleep disordered breathing, while a compromised respiratory function significantly increases this risk. The review discusses the phenotypes of sleep disordered breathing in infants and children with BPD, diagnostic and therapeutic approaches, and indications for sleep studies. © 2021, Pediatria Ltd.. INtersystem interrelations of functional parameters and psychosocial characteristics of students of medical university in the north
The aim of the study is a possibility justification of the functional state correction of students in the learning environment through development of adaptive behavior skills in stress and increase of subjective evaluation of life quality. Methods: research and analysis of cardiac rhythm variability parameters, functional state of the central nervous system, daily monitoring of heart rate and blood pressure, indicators of life quality associated by health condition, features of coping behavior among students of the Khanty-Mansiysk State Medical Academy (n = 96). The structure of canonical roots was identified by means of Pearson's pair correlations. The first (R1 = 0.75; p < 0.001) and second (R2 = 0.72; p = 0.004) canonical roots proved to be statistically significant. Results. The results of the canonical correlation analysis between physiological parameters and biosocial characteristics (behavior in stress and life quality self-esteem associated by health condition) were given in students of the northern medical establishment. The indicators of variation chronoreflexometry correlated to a greater extent with the choice of coping behavior; the three main styles of coping had significant factor loading (r = 0,438-r = 0,558). Parameters of variation pulsometry, mesors of heart rate and systolic blood pressure were the most correlated with life quality self-esteem among physiological parameters; the highest factor loadings were in the scales of PF ( r = 0.637) and RE (r =-0.455). Conclusion: the revealed relations substantiate the possibility of the physiological state correction in students of higher school through increasing its subjective well-being and the formation of adaptive behavior in stress. © 2018 Ekologiya Cheloveka (Human Ecology). MTNR1A and MTNR1B Gene Variants of the Melatonin Receptor and Arterial Stiffness in Persons without Arterial Hypertension
A comparative analysis of vascular stiffness indices and the results of blood test was carried out in 85 healthy donors aged 19-64 years, carriers of polymorphic variants of type 1 and type 2 melatonin receptor genes. The associations of polymorphic markers of type 1 MTNR1A (rs34532313) and type 2 MTNR1B (rs10830963) melatonin receptor genes with parameters of vascular stiffness and blood parameters in healthy patients were studied. Genotyping was performed using allele-specific PCR. In all patients, 24-h BP monitoring with assessment of arterial stiffness was performed. Allele C homozygotes of MTNR1A differed significantly from carriers of the major T allele by elevated triglyceride, LDL, and fibrinogen levels. The major allele C of the rs10830963 polymorphic variant of the MTNR1B gene is associated with elevated LDL and triglycerides, as well as with individual differences in the elastic properties of the vascular wall in the examined subjects
