Comments on the cross-relaxation effect between adsorbed ³He and PrF₃ nanoparticles

    No full text
The spin kinetics data of ³He in contact with PrF₃ and LaF₃ nanosized powders are reported. All experiments have been carried out by pulse NMR methods at temperature 1.5 K. The analysis of obtained data testifies in favor of cross-relaxation presence in the nuclear spin–lattice relaxation data, which takes place between ³He and ¹⁴¹Pr nuclei

Study of the crystal field in CeF3 and CeF3:Pr3+

    No full text
The crystal field analysis based on calculations in the framework of the semi phenomenological exchange charge model was carried out. The set of crystal field parameters for Ce3+ and Pr3+ ions in the matrix CeF3 related to the crystallographic system of coordinates has been obtained and used to reproduce satisfactory the crystal field energies of Ce3+ and Pr3+ ions

    Enhanced NMR of 51V

Abstract: The enhanced 51V NMR in Al 2O 3 and [C(NH 2) 3]Al(SO 4) 2· 6 H 2O have been studied. Both systems are Van Vleck paramagnets. Analysis of enhanced 51V NMR and V 3 + ESR data allowed us to estimate vanadium nuclear quadrupole frequencies and hyperfine interaction constant B for 51V 3 + ions in corundum for the first time. Magnon Quantization in the Magnetic Field Qradient

    No full text
The article is devoted to the study of quantization of magnons in yttrium iron garnet film in the magnetic field gradient. Detected energy levels correspond to the quantization of particles in triangular potential. These energy levels are not equidistant. Therefore, they can be used to create a magnon quantum qubits

Cryogenic Purification of Helium and its Use for Preparing Polarization Cells and Carrying Out Non-Optical Polarization of 3He Nuclei

    No full text
Abstract—: The application of the cryogenic technique for purifying helium isotopes and their mixtures from concomitant admixtures is described. This technique is suitable for the purpose of 3He polarization using the PAMP (polarization of atoms in a magnetized plasma) method. It is based on a long gas deposit in a tube at liquid helium temperature when the tube is immersed into a standard storage dewar. The observed optical emission spectra of helium plasma and the estimate of the 3He polarization (approximately 1%) at room temperature evidence the effectiveness of the described procedures for helium purification and cell cleaning
