How have relationships in research and higher education recovered from the apartheid era? Which institutions are most active and most deeply involved in cooperation between the two countries? In which fields of science do researchers cooperate most actively? What kind of win-win situations and stumbling blocks do researchers see in partnering with colleagues from the other country? What is the institutional setting in which they have to cooperate?
