KEJADIAN ASFIKSIA NEONATORUM PADA TINDAKAN EKSTRAKSI VAKUM PADA BAYI BARU LAHIR

Neonatal asphyxia is one of the causes of infant mortality, one of which is caused by vacuum extraction.The incidence of neonatal asphyxia in Bengkulu dr.M.Yunus Hospital in 2013 was 17.06%. This studyaims to determine the relationship of vacuum extraction with neonatal asphyxia in newborns in dr. M.Yunus Bengkulu in 2013. This type of research is analytic survey with case control design. The populationis all newborns in 2013 at the Hospital Dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu in 2257 amounted baby. The total sampleof 770 consisting of 385 samples in total sampling cases and 385 control samples systematic randomsampling. The study was conducted at room C1 Midwifery dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu in July 2014. The datawas collected using secondary data, the data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate.
