Investigation the effects of participation regular exercise on exercise dependence

Bu çalışmada düzenli egzersizin egzersiz bağımlılığı üzerine etkisini incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmaya yaş ortalamaları 28,9±9,1 yıl olan ve en az 2 yıldır düzenli olarak spor merkezlerine giden 140 (40 bayan 100 erkek) sağlıklı birey, gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Katılımcılara demografik özelliklerin sorgulandığı anket formu ile ve Hausenblas HA. ve Downs DS. (2002) tarafından geliştirilen ve Yeltepe H.ve İkizler H.C. (2007) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan Egzersiz Bağımlılığı Ölçeği-21 uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 11,5 istatistik programında gruplar arası karşılaştırma için Kruskal-Wallis ve Mann Whitney U Testleri kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular p<0,05 düzeyinde anlamlı kabul edilmiştir. Kkatılımcıların 10’unun bağımlı, 95’inin semptomatik ve 35’inin asemptomatik olduğu belirlenmiştir. Buna ek olarak;bağımlı gurubun haftalık egzersiz sıklığı, egzersiz yaşı ve bağımlılık toplam puanları açısından semptomatik ve asemptomatik gruplarda istatistiksel anlamda farklılaştığı belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca, semptomatik gurubun bağımlılık toplam puanı bakımından asemptomatik guruptan istatistiksel anlamda farklılaştığı da saptanmıştır. Haftalık egzersiz sıklığının ve egzersiz yaşının yüksek olması egzersiz bağımlılığının ortaya çıkmasına etkili olabileceği söylenebilir.The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of participation regular exercise on exercise dependence. Totally 140 (40 female 100 male) healthy person mean age was 28,9±9,1 years and have minimum 2 years regular exercise experience participated in to the study voluntary. Demographic survey and Exercise Dependence Scale-21 which was develeoped by Hausenblas HA. and Downs DS. (2002) and adapted in to Turkish by Yeltepe H.and Ikizler H.C. (2007) used to collect data. Kruskal-Wallis and Mann Whitney U tests in SPSS 11,5 were used to alayze data. Findings were accepted at <0,05 level. Analysis showed that; 10 of participant were dependence, 95 of participant was symptomatic and 35 of participants were asymptomatic. In addition there were significant differences between dependence group and other groups according to weekly exercise frequency, exercise age and total scale point. Besides it is found that there were significant difference between symptomatic group and asymptomatic group according to total scale point. It is possible to say that;the high frequency of weekly exercise and the high exercise age can be effective to appear the exercise dependence

Mikst konnektif doku hastalığı ve Graves hastalığı birlikteliği: Bir olgu sunumu

23 yaşında ev hanımı olan hasta her iki elde şişlik, ağrı, renk değişikliği, jeneralize artralji ve miyalji şikayetleri ile polikliniğimize başvurdu. Hastada kelebek raş, her iki el sırtında şişlik, sağ el 2. ve 3. proksimal interfalangeal eklemde ve sol diz ekleminde artrit vardı. Antinükleer antikor pozitifti, antiribozomal nükleer protein antikor titresi artmıştı. C reaktif protein ve eritrosit sedimentasyon hızı hafif yükselmişti. Sinovit, Raynaud fenomeni ve anti-ribonükleer protein pozitifliği göz önüne alınarak mikst konnektif doku hastalığı tanısı kondu ve hastaya oral prednisolon ve methotrexate tedavisi başlandı. Bir sene sonra serum serbest T3 ve serbest T4 değerlerinde yükselme ve tiroid stimulan hormon seviyelerinde düşüş tespit edildi. Antimikrozomal ve antitiroglobulin antikorları yüksek saptandı. Tc-99 ile yapılan sintigrafide diffüz tutulum mevcuttu. Bu bulgularla hastaya Graves hastalığı tanısı konarak propiltiyourasil ve propranolol tedavisi başlandı ve 6. ayda radyoaktif iyot ile ablasyon yapıldı. Bu makalede, mikst konnektif doku hastalığı ile birlikte Graves hastalığı olan bir olgu rapor edilmiş ve bu konu ile ilgili literatür gözden geçirilmiştir.A 23-year-old housewife admitted to hospital complained swelling, pain and skin color changes in both hands, and generalized arthralgia and myalgia. She had a butterfly malar rash, puffy hands, arthritis affecting the right second and third proximal interphalangeal and left knee joints. Anti-nuclear antibody was positive, anti-ribosomal nuclear protein antibody titer was found to be increased, C-reactive protein and erythrocyte sedimentation rate were slightly higher. Mixed connective tissue disease was diagnosed on the basis of the findings of synovitis, Raynaud's phenomenon and positive anti-ribosomal nuclear protein antibody and the patient was administered on a combination of oral prednisolone and methotrexate. After one year, a significant increase in the serum free T3 and free T4 and a suppression in thyroid stimulating hormone levels were noted. Both anti-microsomal and anti-thyroglobulin antibodies were also found to be increased. Thyroid scintigraphy with Tc-99 pertecnatat revealed a diffuse uptake pattern. The patient was diagnosed with Graves' disease and treated with anthythyroid drugs for 6 months and then radioactive iodine-131 ablation. In conclusion, here we report a case with mixed connective tissue disease associated with Graves' disease which is an uncommon data in literature

Examination of the extent and effects of strategic management on e-commerce companies

Internet technology can be used not only in commercial applications but also in the implementation and distribution of public services like education and health, making e-commerce essential not only for the business world but also for all of society. Thus, companies can take advantage of internet opportunities in order to develop their strategies in e-commerce environment, creating working groups by bringing together employees in different geographical locations with tools such as newsgroups, communication rooms, etc., benefiting from customer suggestions. Therefore, it is important to examine and analyze the companies that have commercial activities in e-commerce environments in terms of strategic management. From a strategic point of view, the aim of companies should be to increase their activities by influencing their existing customers and continuously gaining new customers within the e-commerce environment
