Interaction between Hydrofluorosilicic Acid and 1,10-Phenanthroline: Hydrolytic Stability of Chelate Complexes of Silicon Tetrafluoride with Bidentate N-Donors

    No full text
Hexafluorosilicate (LH2)SiF6 and the cis-[SiF4(L)] chelate complex characterized by 19F NMR are products of reaction between hydrofluorosilicic acid and 1,10-phenanthroline (L). XRD findings show that the structure of (LH2)SiF6 is stabilized by NHâ‹…â‹…â‹…F hydrogen bonds (Nâ‹…â‹…â‹…F 2.618(4), 2.676(4) Ă…) and CHâ‹…â‹…â‹…F contacts. The relative resistance of the cis-[SiF4(L)] complex to hydrolysis is associated with the chelate effect

[[abstract]]By the reaction of 1H-imidazole-4,5-dicarbonitrile, 3-nitro-1,2,4-triazole, and 1H-tetrazole, containing one proton at each of the two proton-donating atoms separated by one covalent bond, it was shown that uncharged crystalline supramolecular compounds can be obtained on account of the proton-donating characteristics of the aromatic heterocycles.[[journaltype]]國外[[incitationindex]]EI[[booktype]]紙本[[countrycodes]]US
