Laser-Induced Skyrmion Writing and Erasing in an Ultrafast Cryo-Lorentz Transmission Electron Microscopy

We demonstrate that light-induced heat pulses of different duration and energy can write skyrmions in a broad range of temperatures and magnetic field in FeGe. Using a combination of camera-rate and pump-probe cryo-Lorentz Transmission Electron Microscopy, we directly resolve the spatio-temporal evolution of the magnetization ensuing optical excitation. The skyrmion lattice was found to maintain its structural properties during the laser-induced demagnetization, and its recovery to the initial state happened in the sub-{\mu}s to {\mu}s range, depending on the cooling rate of the system

The urgency of problem under investigation due to fact that increasing demand of the information technology infrastructure development in current conditions of educational institutions functioning, including formation of the information-educational environment point of view. Offered organizational and economic model of constructing processes for software development is based on agile project management, regarded as an object-oriented tool for optimizing labor economics. The purpose of article is in model for labor economy processes optimization as a part of software development based on agile project management methodology in departments associated with development of information technologies in educational organization. The leading method to the problem study is in measurement of labor economics key indicators, including specific metrics of technical expert’s human capital growth. As an experimental base of research are considered educational organizations, at different times, using classical approach for software development and agile project management. The article presents research results of educational organizations departments engaged in project activities for development of information technologies, which are in the development of software products using classical approach for software development and agile project management. Article submissions may be useful to create a culture for constructing labor economics and human capital system based on sustainable growth in departments of educational institutions working in the field of information technology. © 2016 Dorozhkin et al

Aim. To study the changes of the major risk factors (RFs) and vascular status in students over six years of their education at a medical university.Material and methods. A total of 667 students aged 17,8±1,2 years were examined in the 1st year and 6th year (162 men, 505 women). Students who entered in the same year were combined into one cohort, while in total 5 cohorts were recruited. The screening examination was carried out as part of the annual intra-university events "Freshman Week", "Graduate Week" by staff of the University Health Center and included the collection of complaints and history, height, body weight, the measurement of peripheral and central blood pressure, as well as the assessment vascular stiffness and metabolic status. Statistical analysis of the material was carried out using SPSS Statistics 23.0.Results. Analysis of RFs in medical students over 6 years showed a significant increase of the prevalence of hypertension/prehypertension, resting tachycardia, obesity/overweight, malnutrition and physical inactivity. An assessment of central and peripheral hemodynamics, as well as vascular stiffness of students, revealed an increase in the level of aortic systolic pressure, combined with an increase in peripheral systolic blood pressure and pulse. At the same time, there was no significant increase in some parameters of vascular stiffness, against the background of a 2-fold increase in the prevalence of overweight. Analysis of the metabolic status reveals a significant change in total cholesterol and triglycerides but no alterations in capillary blood glucose.Conclusion. The data obtained indicate an increase in the prevalence of not only behavioral, but also biological RFs among medical students, as well as the development of preclinical vascular remodeling in them during a six-year education, which can later lead to early cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, widespread screening system of risk factors among students should be developed

A transverse current rectification in graphene superlattice

A model for energy spectrum of superlattice on the base of graphene placed on the striped dielectric substrate is proposed. A direct current component which appears in that structure perpendicularly to pulling electric field under the influence of elliptically polarized electromagnetic wave was derived. A transverse current density dependence on pulling field magnitude and on magnitude of component of elliptically polarized wave directed along the axis of a superlattice is analyzed.Comment: 12 pages, 6 figure
