Standardization of New Motoric Test for Gaining of Movable Efficiency of Fireman – Rescuers

    No full text
Authors deal in their articles with analysis of rescue actions of firemen in difficult conditions of agglomeration from the point of view of using of technical means and their preparedness. They suggest specific solution like the complex test, due to it will be possible after doing the standardization to verify better firemen’s preparedness into rescue action. Firstly the test will be the focus on verifying of the firemen’s preparedness in rescue action in high buildings. Test is standardized on the unit of firemen of countries of V – 4. This problem is solution of grant research task of VEGA MŠ SR No. 1/0713/08 with cooperation of countries of V − 4.Autorzy zajmują się analizą działań ratowniczych w trudnych warunkach aglomeracji, biorąc pod uwagę użycie środków technicznych, jak również gotowość ratowników.

Current Trends in Training of Managers in the Field of Information And Communication Technologies And Identifying the Barriers to Education of Managers

Lately lifelong learning has become an integral part of the whole society. This is also the reason for the greatest development of new concepts serving just the implementation of lifelong learning policy. These changes in the process of continuous education are in practice much more than a comprehensive adaptation of the education system, which is why this trend is currently understood mainly in the developed countries of the world as a response to the changing labor market. Lifelong learning thus provides individuals with a better perspective and at the same time increases the chances of an organization in which they succeed and differentiate themselves on a global scale. That is why we can designate lifelong learning, learning and constant improving as an essential part of the development of managers. Education and training of human resources in organizations form a significant part of lifelong learning. Employee training focuses on shaping individuals, their skills and increasing their competitiveness on the global market. In today's turbulent and difficult-to-anticipate period, educational activities in management and training are important. This brings the ever-increasing demands for expanding, specialized and retraining education and thus the constant demand for new and more efficient forms of educatio n

Optimization of cultivation conditions for production of fructosyltransferase by Aureobasidium pullulans

The investigation of optimal conditions for the fructosyltransferase (FTase) production by Aureobasidium pullulans CCY 27-1-94 was carried out in shaken flasks. The effect of four medium components was investigated by varying their content compared to the reference medium composition. It was found that none of the investigated components had a very strong effect either on the cell growth or the FTase production. It was, however, disadvantageous to decrease the content of the components below the values in the reference medium. The influence of initial sucrose concentration and cultivation time was investigated in the second stage using a rotatable central composite design where the sucrose concentration was 208-491 g dm −3 and the cultivation time was from 26 to 94 h. The sucrose content did not influence the total production of FTase but high sucrose concentrations resulted in high specific activities of the cells. The cultivation time had a positive effect on the fructosyltransferase production up to 40-60 h but it decreased the specific enzyme activity. The effect of the composition of the cultivation medium on the total costs of fructooligosaccharide production was also evaluated. Fructosyltransferase (FTase) is an enzyme that catalyzes the transformation of sucrose into fructooligosaccharides (FOS's) which have a broad application in food and pharmaceutical industries. Typical sources of FTase are the microbial strains of Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus japonicus, and Aureobasidium pullulans The most investigated factor was the initial sucrose concentration in the fermentation medium the effect of which was investigated up to the content value of 45 % In one of the previous studies of our research group, Aureobasidium pullulans CCY 27-1-94 was selected from several microbial fructosyltransferase producers as the best one on the basis of the yield and selectivity of fructooligosaccharide production by the enzym

Data Protection and Security in SMEs under Enterprise Infrastructure

    No full text
Information is becoming a highly valued commodity of strategic importance in the period of globalization of trade, cooperation and mutual integration of companies. These facts bring a new perspective and the importance of adequate information security in IS/IT, especially in connection with their electronization and electronic exchange. The protection and security of IS/IT is therefore becoming increasingly important for companies and is one of the key factors for the economic success of SMEs, as well as in agricultural organizations and rural development organizations. Management's interest in IS/IT security and information results not only from a threat to prosperity, but also in the case of the threat to the company's own existence. By analysing the risks, adopting IS/IT security policy, developing safety standards, and implementing security in the life of the company, the security process does not end but comes into a qualitatively new stage. At the moment when the main problems are solved and the environment, at least to a certain extent ready, there is time for important routine activities. This is monitoring, control and audit

Information Security and Risk Analysis in Companies of Agriresort

    No full text
Information and communication technologies are a tool to streamline production, and therefore they must be properly secured. The article is aimed at solving security and protection of agribusiness ICT. For a more detailed analysis of this issue there has been carried out a research. Its partial results were submitted to statistical analysis and are presented in the following article. The basic prerequisite for the implementation of any safety measures is the risk analysis when properly conducted it enables the effective implementation of safety measures and the corresponding potential threats and protected values of organization. The main aim of this paper is to assess the impact of particular forms of ICTs on protection, determination of the possible impact of the implementation of the risk and threat analysis for the enterprise

Individual vortex nucleation/annihilation in ferromagnetic nanodots with broken symmetry observed by micro-Hall magnetometry

    No full text
We studied vortex nucleation/annihilation process and its temperature dependence in micromagnetic objects with lowered symmetry using micro-Hall magnetometry. Magnetization reversal curves were obtained for the Pacman-like nanodots placed directly on Hall probes. Lowered symmetry of the object leads to good control of its chirality. Vortex nucleation and annihilation fields strongly depend on the angle of the external in-plane magnetic field with respect on the nanodot symmetry. The micromagnetic simulations support the experimental results - the vortex nucleation fields are controlled by local magnetization configurations present in the object (C-, S-, and double S-states) for field just above vortex nucleation field. The experiments also confirm that the vortex nucleation proceeds via thermal activation over an energy barrier
