    Semi-supervised Multi-sensor Classification via Consensus-based Multi-View Maximum Entropy Discrimination

    In this paper, we consider multi-sensor classification when there is a large number of unlabeled samples. The problem is formulated under the multi-view learning framework and a Consensus-based Multi-View Maximum Entropy Discrimination (CMV-MED) algorithm is proposed. By iteratively maximizing the stochastic agreement between multiple classifiers on the unlabeled dataset, the algorithm simultaneously learns multiple high accuracy classifiers.     Unequal Error Protection Querying Policies for the Noisy 20 Questions Problem

    In this paper, we propose an open-loop unequal-error-protection querying policy based on superposition coding for the noisy 20 questions problem. In this problem, a player wishes to successively refine an estimate of the value of a continuous random variable by posing binary queries and receiving noisy responses. When the queries are designed non-adaptively as a single block and the noisy responses are modeled as the output of a binary symmetric channel the 20 questions problem can be mapped to an equivalent problem of channel coding with unequal error protection (UEP). A new non-adaptive querying strategy based on UEP superposition coding is introduced whose estimation error decreases with an exponential rate of convergence that is significantly better than that of the UEP repetition coding introduced by Variani et al. (2015). With the proposed querying strategy, the rate of exponential decrease in the number of queries matches the rate of a closed-loop adaptive scheme where queries are sequentially designed with the benefit of feedback.     Cities have transformed collecting public places into private spaces. While in the past, public places as an urban place had a specific identity for themselves. Nowadays in nonexistence of connection between public and private life residents are forced to create their social life within their own control and are not entered to identity in public space. Urban spaces are made regardless to social needs of residents and their cultural origins. Formation of urban spaces impact to quality of its social and spatial and cannot be absorbed potential of environmental and social. For reproduction of social identity is required the behaviour-milieu this behaviour-milieu is a place for standing of pattern behaviour. In this way the role of neighborhood center as behavioural setting appears to be helping as to establish the distinctive identity of the place and create the conditions in which residents can develop their relationships and control. Behavioural complex also provide context of social partnership. Places can be considered as a physical form with their spatial territory which supports activity, ceremonies, and events and helps to sense of place formation. Feeling of neighborhood territory will exacerbate dependence and sense of place to it. The most important aspect of sense of place is attachment of people to their home or neighborhood sphere. Belonging to them make a territory feeling. Sense of place supports the cultural concept, social and culture relationship of society in the place and achieves to individual identity. This paper reviews recent research and literature review into the concept of sense of place and their assessment. The aim of this study was to evaluate the sense of place in the traditional urban to be carried out in the contemporary urban setting. The discussion presents the relationship between four groups of sense of place, territory, dependence, and finally provides a conceptual model as to show how these factors affect to sense of place. The result of this study indicates a model that mentions a relationship between dimensions of sense of place.     Information Preserving Component Analysis: Data Projections for Flow Cytometry Analysis

    Flow cytometry is often used to characterize the malignant cells in leukemia and lymphoma patients, traced to the level of the individual cell. Typically, flow cytometric data analysis is performed through a series of 2-dimensional projections onto the axes of the data set. Through the years, clinicians have determined combinations of different fluorescent markers which generate relatively known expression patterns for specific subtypes of leukemia and lymphoma -- cancers of the hematopoietic system. By only viewing a series of 2-dimensional projections, the high-dimensional nature of the data is rarely exploited. In this paper we present a means of determining a low-dimensional projection which maintains the high-dimensional relationships (i.e. information) between differing oncological data sets. By using machine learning techniques, we allow clinicians to visualize data in a low dimension defined by a linear combination of all of the available markers, rather than just 2 at a time. This provides an aid in diagnosing similar forms of cancer, as well as a means for variable selection in exploratory flow cytometric research. Cyber criminals usually steal accounts from website administrators to manipulate data and information, for this reason, it is necessary to have a security method to protect websites from attacks. Various account security methods have been developed, one of which is the two-factor authentication (2FA) method, this method is used to anticipate if the administrator's account is stolen by a cybercriminal, if someone else gets the account, the perpetrator must get the second password sent. system to the victim's email or cellphone number, so to be able to enter the website, two authentication steps are needed. In addition to 2FA, this research will utilize a firewall to allow multiple addresses (IP addresses) to access administrator pages, so that if the perpetrator is outside the permitted address, the perpetrator still cannot enter the website. By utilizing 2FA and firewall policies, websites will have more protection from cyber security threats
