The Mediation Effect of Brand Equity between Brand Dimensions and Consumer Decision on Palestine Olive Oil: A Conceptual Framework
This paper discussed and reviewed the brand awareness, brand loyalty, brand association, and brand equity, as well as the Consumer decision on Palestine olive oil concept. Besides the previous studies that clarify the role of the brand awareness, brand loyalty, brand association on the Consumer decision on Palestine olive oil, also the mediating impact of brand equity impact on between brand dimensions and Consumer decision on Palestine olive oil in Palestine olive oil market. This paper has come up with a conceptual framework that can be implemented in the Palestinian olive oil industr
Measurement of the separation between atoms beyond diffraction limit
Precision measurement of small separations between two atoms or molecules has
been of interest since the early days of science. Here, we discuss a scheme
which yields spatial information on a system of two identical atoms placed in a
standing wave laser field. The information is extracted from the collective
resonance fluorescence spectrum, relying entirely on far-field imaging
techniques. Both the interatomic separation and the positions of the two
particles can be measured with fractional-wavelength precision over a wide
range of distances from bout lambda/550 to lambda/2.Comment: v2: Revised version for publicatio
Surface plasmon induced quantum interference at meta-material interface
In this work we investigate quantum interference in a four-level atom coupled
to a negative index meta-material (NIMM) plasmonic reservoir that supports both
TE and TM polarized surface plasmons (SP). This provides more options to
control SP interaction with emitters and hence more control of spontaneous
emission decays and spectrum. The spectrum depends critically on parameters
like the reservoir parameters, mode frequency, frequency dependent electric
permittivity and magnetic permeability, and the location of the atom. We report
orders of magnitude enhancement in the reservoir-modified decays and spectrum
compared to free space case. The rich atomic and plasmonic parameters provide a
wide range of flexibility and more options to control emission spectrum that
suits practical applications.Comment: 30 pages , 8 figures , research wor
Hanbury Brown-Twiss effect and thermal light ghost imaging
We show that the essential physics of the Hanbury Brown-Twiss (HBT) and the
thermal light ghost imaging experiments is the same, i.e., due to the intensity
fluctuations of the thermal light. However, in the ghost imaging experiments, a
large number of bits information needs to be treated together, whereas in the
HBT there is only one bit information required to be obtained. In the HBT
experiment far field is used for the purpose of easy detection, while in the
ghost image experiment near (or not-far) field is used for good quality image.Comment: 10 pages, 3 figure
High-Quality Wavelets Features Extraction for Handwritten Arabic Numerals Recognition
Arabic handwritten digit recognition is the science of recognition and classification of handwritten Arabic digits. It has been a subject of research for many years with rich literature available on the subject. Handwritten digits written by different people are not of the same size, thickness, style, position or orientation. Hence, many different challenges have to overcome for resolving the problem of handwritten digit recognition. The variation in the digits is due to the writing styles of different people which can differ significantly. Automatic handwritten digit recognition has wide application such as automatic processing of bank cheques, postal addresses, and tax forms. A typical handwritten digit recognition application consists of three main stages namely features extraction, features selection, and classification. One of the most important problems is feature extraction. In this paper, a novel feature extraction approach for off-line handwritten digit recognition is presented. Wavelets-based analysis of image data is carried out for feature extraction, and then classification is performed using various classifiers. To further reduce the size of training data-set, high entropy subbands are selected. To increase the recognition rate, individual subbands providing high classification accuracies are selected from the over-complete tree. The features extracted are also normalized to standardize the range of independent variables before providing them to the classifier. Classification is carried out using k-NN and SVMs. The results show that the quality of extracted features is high as almost equivalently high classification accuracies are acquired for both classifiers, i.e. k-NNs and SVMs
Spectral Narrowing via Quantum Coherence
We have studied the transmission of an optically thick Rb vapor that is
illuminated by monochromatic and noise broaden laser fields in Lambda
configuration. The spectral width of the beat signal between the two fields
after transmission through the atomic medium is more than 1000 times narrower
than the spectral width of this signal before the medium.Comment: 4 pages, 4 figure
