The rapid development of agricultural modernization in Hubei province has an influence on cultivated land resources variations to a certain degree. This paper used grey relational analysis methodļ¼Œcombined with Hubei province cultivated land area decreased data within the year covering 2000 to 2010 and agricultural modernization development index data, then analyzed the influence relationship between agricultural modernization development and cultivated land resources variations. Through calculating then obtained the relational degree of each index of agricultural modernization and cultivated land resources variations in Hubei province r01=0.6518, r02=0.6814, r03=0.6737, r04=0.6904, r05=0.7002, r06=0.6175ļ¼Œturned out to be r05\u3e r04\u3e r02\u3e r03\u3e r01\u3e r06by sequencing. Result shows that irrigation index-effective irrigation area has the highest relational degree on cultivated land resources variations, three chemical indexes are in the second place followed by successively are plastic films, fertilizers and pesticides according to relational degree, then the electrification indexelectricity consumption and the last mechanization index-total power of agricultural machinery. The sequence means water conservancy facilities construction and reasonableness and scientificalness of its utility should be taken into seriously, and the dependence degree of using fertilizers, pesticides and plastic films should be reduced in the meanwhile, electrification and mechanization development of modern agriculture should be kept improving the production efficiency and protecting cultivated land resources

GeV Scale Asymmetric Dark Matter from Mirror Universe: Direct Detection and LHC Signatures

Mirror universe is a fundamental way to restore parity symmetry in weak interactions. It naturally provides the lightest mirror nucleon as a unique GeV-scale asymmetric dark matter particle candidate. We conjecture that the mirror parity is respected by the fundamental interaction Lagrangian, and its possible soft breaking arises only from non-interaction terms in the gauge-singlet sector. We realize the spontaneous mirror parity violation by minimizing the vacuum Higgs potential, and derive the corresponding Higgs spectrum. We demonstrate that the common origin of CP violation in the visible and mirror neutrino seesaws can generate the right amount of matter and mirror dark matter via leptogenesis. We analyze the direct detections of GeV-scale mirror dark matter by TEXONO and CDEX experiments. We further study the predicted distinctive Higgs signatures at the LHC.Comment: 16pp. Plenary talk presented by HJH at the International Symposium on Cosmology and Particle Astrophysics (CosPA2011). As the prevailing food cultures, edible insects could be dated back to ancient China. It is becoming clear that insect resource can be massā€produced in sustainable development food utilization. China could introduce insects into modern western diets. It is a precious resource considering the nutritional value, food ingredients and chemical composition of species. Meanwhile, the edible insectsā€™ consumption also led to a challenge of addressing food security, nature conservation and the erosion of traditional food culture. We summarized the resourceful edible insects containing the nutrition substance, such as essential proteins, amino acids, fatty acids, carbohydrates, vitamins, mineral elements and other functional ingredients with the insect secondary metabolite, including the flavonoids, alkaloids, polysaccharides, hormones and phospholipids, which have high economic value for development and utilization.Based on the history, custom, plasmid resource, production and status of edible insects in China at present, it has been proven that the development of insects food well matches the need for human health in China

This article is an open access article distributed under the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/)In current power station boilers, fuel burns at a low temperature, which results in low exergy efficiency. This research combined the second law of t with the boiler structure to maximize the efficiency of a 350 MW power plant boiler. A three-dimensional simulation of the combustion process at the power plant boiler is performed. A one-dimensional simulation model of the boiler is then constructed to calculate the combustion exergy loss, heat transfer exergy loss, and boiler exergy efficiency. Under the principle of high-temperature air combustion technologies, this paper also proposes a new structure and improved operating parameters to improve the exergy efficiency of boilers by reducing the heat exchange area of the economizer and increasing the heat exchange area of the air preheater. Simulation results show that the exergy efficiency of the boiler increased from 47.29% to 48.35% through the modified model. The simulation outcomes can instruct future optimal boiler design and controls.Peer reviewe

Measurement-Based Characterization of 39 GHz Millimeter-Wave Dual-Polarized Channel Under Foliage Loss Impact

This paper presents a measurement-based analysis of wideband 39 GHz millimeter wave (mm-wave) dual-polarized propagation channel under the impact of foliage presence between a transmitter (Tx) and a receiver (Rx). The measurements were conducted in a rich-vegetation area, and the so-called direction-scan-sounding (DSS) method which rotates a horn antenna in angular domains was applied, aiming at investigating the direction-of-arrival (DoA)-dependent characteristics of polarimetric channels. Four Tx-to-Rx polarization configurations were considered, including co-polarization scenarios with vertical Tx-polarization to vertical Rx-polarization (VV) and horizontal to horizontal (HH), as well as cross-polarization with vertical to horizontal (VH) and horizontal to vertical (HV), which allow scrutinizing the differences in delay-direction dispersion for usually-encountered scenarios. A foliage loss model for various vegetation depths in VV polarization configuration, was also presented in this paper. The results show that the foliage-loss DoA spectra for VH and HV are similar, while the spectra exhibit less penetration loss in most directions for VV than for the HH. Furthermore, the presence of vegetation between the Tx and the Rx leads to larger dispersion in delay compared to the clear line-of-sight (LoS) scenario, particularly for vertical polarization in the Tx side, and additionally, the foliage presence also results in evident DoA dispersion, specially in the HV scenario. Selectivity in directions caused by foliage is more significant in vertically-polarized Tx scenarios than in the horizontally-polarized Tx scenarios. A statistical model is established summarizing these comparison details
