    Strategi Komunikasi Lembaga Amil Zakat (Laz) Swadaya Ummah dalam Meningkatkan Jumlah Muzakki di Pekanbaru

    The first one that established in Riau province is Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ) Swadaya Ummah. Due to big potential of zakat in Indonesia, especially in Pekanbaru made growth of Zakat Institution in Pekanbaru increased. It can be seen the number of branches National Zakat Institutionopened in Pekanbaru like Dompet Duafa, Rumah Zakat (RZ) and Program Keadilan Peduli Umat (PKPU). As increasing ofZakat Institution National,Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ) Swadaya Ummah should further enhance communication strategy in order to remain trusted by society in Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to examine the introduction of targeted strategy, media selection strategy, assessment strategy objectives and strategies message communicator role which is used by Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ) Swadaya Ummah in Pekanbaru.This research receipts qualitative methods, namely the collection of data obtained based on the fact data in the field through observations, interviews, and documentation. Subjects of this study consisted of 10 persons namely 1 deputy director, 4 fundraiser , 1 customer service, and 4 muzakki Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ) Swadaya Ummah that are selected by using purposive technique. To analyze the results of this study use interactive data analysis techniques, while data validity checking techniques through extension of participation and triangulation.The results showed that the communication strategyof Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ) Swadaya Ummah in terms of the introduction of goals of the entire Muslim society in Pekanbaru, the placement target is divided into three strategic segments, namely employment, education, and region. For further, the election of media is divided into mass media, face-to-face media and internet media, in order to reach all levels of society. The contents of the message delivered by Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ) Swadaya Ummah Pekanbaru is persuasive, educative and informativemessage. After the contents of the message was conveyed, then muzakki will see the role of communicators in the communication that includes the appeal of the source and credibility of the source. Based on the communication strategy that was undertaken by communicator, it was quite effective that can be seens from tending the growing number of muzakki every year.Keywords: Communication Strategy, Organization Ummah, Improved Muzakk

    The television show is not only have a positive impact, but also the negative impact if not filtered properly, the impact would affect the behavior of television viewers. The majority of television shows are currently only prioritize entertainment, and the exclusion of education inside them. KPID has been have some strategys to bring the desired goals. This research aims to determine how the communication strategy communication of Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia Daerah (KPID) Riau in optimizing media literacy programs to television viewers in Riau and the obstacles encountered in performing that strategy communication of KPID in optimizing media literacy programs to television viewers in Riau.This research was conducted in (KPID) Riau Jl. Gajah Mada No. 200 Pekanbaru. for the record, this research using deskriptif kualitatif metode and analisis model data interactive miles and Huberman. Informants in this research are the commissioner of KPID Riau, students, and perents. Data collection techniques are using observations, interviews and documentations.The results of the reasearch showed that strategy communication of Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia Daerah (KPID) Riau so obvious a way to optimize the literacy of media between knowing a target communications, communications media selection, message communication assessment purposes, the role of communicators in the communication to the charms and the credibility of the source, the formation of KCM and KCSI, and cooperation.     Multiple Sexual Partners, Condom Use, and Their Associations with Hiv Infection among Man Who Have Sex with Man in Medan

    Background: Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) continues to be a major global public health issue, having claimed more than 35 million lives so far. In 2017, 940 000 people died from HIV-related causes globally. There were approximately 36.9 million people living with HIV at the end of 2017 with 1.8 million people becoming newly infected in 2017 globally. Key populations are groups who are at increased risk of HIV irrespective of epidemic type or local context. They include: men who have sex with men, people who inject drugs, people in prisons and other closed settings, sex workers and their clients, and transgender people. This study aimed to examine multiple sexual partners, condom use, and their associations with HIV infection among man who have sex with man (MSM) in Medan, North Sumatera. Subjects and Method: This was a case control study conducted at puskesmas (community health centre) Teladan in Medan, North Sumatera, in May 2018. A sample of 96 MSM was selected for this study. The dependent variable HIV infection. The independent variables were multiple sexual partners and condom use. The HIV status was taken from the medical record. The other data were collected by questionnaire. The data were analyzed by a multiple logistic regression. Results: Multiple sexual partners (OR= 2.93; 95% CI= 1.25 to 6.86; p= 0.022) and no condom use (OR= 2.83; 95% CI= 1.23 to 6.52; p= 0.024) were associated with an increased risk of HIV. Conclusion: Multiple sexual partners and no condom use are associated with an increased risk of HIV. Keywords: HIV, multiple sexual partners, condom use, men who have sex with me
