Numerical study on aerodynamic noise performances of axial spacing in a contra-rotating axial fan
In order to study the effect of axial spacing on behaviors of aerodynamic performance and aerodynamic noises in a contra-rotating fan, the steady/unsteady Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations are solved by the numerical method in conjunction with a SST turbulence model, and the effects of axial spacing on performance and aerodynamic characteristics are investigated. Furthermore, BEM is adopted to compute the radiation noise of the contra-rotating fan caused by unsteady pressure fluctuations. The results show that axial spacing is an important factor which can affect the aerodynamic performance of contra-rotating fan. As a whole, the effect of axial spacing on the blade loading of Rotor 2 is significantly greater than that of Rotor 1. For Rotor 2, the smaller axial spacing leads to the large secondary flow loss, and the larger axial spacing leads to the strong mixing loss. With the increase of axial spacing, the radiation noise at the characteristic frequency decreases, but showed different changing degrees. With consideration of the aerodynamic performance and aerodynamic noises of the contra-rotating fan, the optimal comprehensive performance appears at the axial spacing of 0.5 chord
Effect of counter-rotating fan’s speed matching on stall inception and characteristics of tip clearance flow
In order to study the effect of speed matching on behavior of tip clearance flow and its possible link to stall inception in counter-rotating fan, the Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations are solved by the numerical method in conjunction with a SST turbulence model, the effect of speed matching on performance and stability margin are investigated, so are the difference of the tip clearance flow in different speed matching. Furthermore, the effect of speed matching on behavior of tip clearance flow and its possible link to stall inception are investigated. Research results show that: when the rotational speed of Rotor 2 is less than that of Rotor 1, with the decrease of rotational speed of Rotor 2 has no notable effect on tip clearance flow fields of the two rotors, therefore offset of stalling boundary is minor and strong blockage effect is observed in Rotor 1; when the rotational speed of Rotor 1 is less than that of Rotor 2, decrease of rotational speed of Rotor 1 show significant effect on the two rotors, which leads to major offset of stalling boundary, tip leakage flow performance of Rotor 1 improved, while that of Rotor 2 weakened and large blockage area occurs. By comparison, speed variation of Rotor 1 has more effect on stalling boundary of counter-rotating fan
An effective Denial of Service Attack Detection Method in Wireless Mesh Networks
AbstractIn order to detect the DoS attack (Denial-of-Service attack) when wireless mesh networks adopt AODV routing protocol of Ad Hoc networks. Such technologies as an end-to-end authentication, utilization rate of cache memory, two pre-assumed threshold value and distributed voting are used in this paper to detect DoS attacker, which is on the basic of hierarchical topology structure in wireless mesh networks. Through performance analysis in theory and simulations experiment, the scheme would improve the flexibility and accuracy of DoS attack detection, and would obviously improve its security in wireless mesh networks
The Evaluation of E-commerce Efficiency in China using DEA-Tobit model: evidence from Taobao data
Using the analytical framework of DEA-Tobit, this paper investigates the efficiency of e-commerce in China\u27s provinces based on the cross-section data of 31 provinces in China and the data of e-commerce service providers from Taobao’s open platform. The data envelopment analysis (DEA) is used to calculate the technical efficiency and scale efficiency. Furthermore the paper gives an empirical test on the relationship between the scale efficiency and influencing factors by using the censored Tobit model. The results show there are significant regional differences in the efficiency of e-commerce services in provinces of China, and the Real GDP per capita, the seller number on e-commerce platform, the retail sales and wholesale are important reasons for the different efficiency in each province of China. This study provides a domain-specific, integrative approach in evaluating the E-commerce development combining macro data from National Bureau of Statistics of China and micro data from taobao.com
Repairing Process Models with Non-Free-Choice Constructs Based on Token Replay
A method of repairing process models with non-free-choice constructs is proposed based on logical Petri nets, aiming at the problem of low precision in the existing repair methods. An extended successor matrix of transitions is determined according to the distance between any two transitions. There are two types of choice-construct transitions. One is a non-free-choice construct transition, and the other is a general choice construct transition. The type of choice-construct transitions can be determined based on the extended successor matrix and the relationship between the front and back sets of transitions. The location of the deviations is calculated by an improved replaying method. Finally, a model can be repaired according to remaining-token places and missing-token places. Based on the experiments on real event logs, the method proposed in this paper has a better performance in fitness, precision, and simplicity compared with its peers
Curvilinear object segmentation in medical images based on ODoS filter and deep learning network
Automatic segmentation of curvilinear objects in medical images plays an
important role in the diagnosis and evaluation of human diseases, yet it is a
challenging uncertainty in the complex segmentation tasks due to different
issues such as various image appearances, low contrast between curvilinear
objects and their surrounding backgrounds, thin and uneven curvilinear
structures, and improper background illumination conditions. To overcome these
challenges, we present a unique curvilinear structure segmentation framework
based on an oriented derivative of stick (ODoS) filter and a deep learning
network for curvilinear object segmentation in medical images. Currently, a
large number of deep learning models emphasize developing deep architectures
and ignore capturing the structural features of curvilinear objects, which may
lead to unsatisfactory results. Consequently, a new approach that incorporates
an ODoS filter as part of a deep learning network is presented to improve the
spatial attention of curvilinear objects. Specifically, the input image is
transfered into four-channel image constructed by the ODoS filter. In which,
the original image is considered the principal part to describe various image
appearance and complex background illumination conditions, a multi-step
strategy is used to enhance the contrast between curvilinear objects and their
surrounding backgrounds, and a vector field is applied to discriminate thin and
uneven curvilinear structures. Subsequently, a deep learning framework is
employed to extract various structural features for curvilinear object
segmentation in medical images. The performance of the computational model is
validated in experiments conducted on the publicly available DRIVE, STARE and
CHASEDB1 datasets. The experimental results indicate that the presented model
yields surprising results compared with those of some state-of-the-art methods.Comment: 20 pages, 8 figure
Calibration on the fly—a novel two-port S-parameter measurement method for on-wafer leaky systems
In this article, we present a two-port on-wafer scattering parameter measurement method to tackle the issue of crosstalk between probes. The proposed method treats the crosstalk separately during the system calibration and the device measurement stages because the crosstalk during these stages is often different due to changes in the measurement conditions after the probes have been calibrated. For example, device under test (DUT) and calibration standards are often situated on different substrates, or the distance between probes during calibration is different from that during DUT measurement. Based on this concept, we develop a new error model in which the crosstalk is treated as a standalone two-port error network in parallel with the two-port calibration standards or DUTs. The two-port crosstalk error generated during probing, ECT, is removed in the system calibration and corrected during the measurement of the DUT by using a dummy pair of open-circuit standards that are fabricated on the same substrate as the DUT. Since the crosstalk is corrected while measuring the DUT, rather than during system calibration, we call this method ``calibration on the fly'' (COF). The method is demonstrated using measurements of a 10-dB attenuator between 140 and 220 GHz
Observation of spin-orbit magnetoresistance in metallic thin films on magnetic insulators
A magnetoresistance effect induced by the Rashba spin-orbit interaction was
predicted, but not yet observed, in bilayers consisting of normal metal and
ferromagnetic insulator. Here, we present an experimental observation of this
new type of spin-orbit magnetoresistance (SOMR) effect in a bilayer structure
Cu[Pt]/Y3Fe5O12 (YIG), where the Cu/YIG interface is decorated with nanosize Pt
islands. This new MR is apparently not caused by the bulk spin-orbit
interaction because of the negligible spin-orbit interaction in Cu and the
discontinuity of the Pt islands. This SOMR disappears when the Pt islands are
absent or located away from the Cu/YIG interface, therefore we can
unambiguously ascribe it to the Rashba spin-orbit interaction at the interface
enhanced by the Pt decoration. The numerical Boltzmann simulations are
consistent with the experimental SOMR results in the angular dependence of
magnetic field and the Cu thickness dependence. Our finding demonstrates the
realization of the spin manipulation by interface engineering.Comment: 12 pages, 4 figures, 14 pages in supplementary. To appear on Science
