Weighted allocations, their concomitant-based estimators, and asymptotics

Various members of the class of weighted insurance premiums and risk capital allocation rules have been researched from a number of perspectives. Corresponding formulas in the case of parametric families of distributions have been derived, and they have played a pivotal role when establishing parametric statistical inference in the area. Non-parametric inference results have also been derived in special cases such as the tail conditional expectation, distortion risk measure, and several members of the class of weighted premiums. For weighted allocation rules, however, non-parametric inference results have not yet been adequately developed. In the present paper, therefore, we put forward empirical estimators for the weighted allocation rules and establish their consistency and asymptotic normality under practically sound conditions. Intricate statistical considerations rely on the theory of induced order statistics, known as concomitants.Comment: 20 page

In the context of the digital economy, achieving rural industrial revitalization in China hinges on digitization. This study delves into the synergistic mechanisms of diverse factors that contribute to Rural Industrial Revitalization across three dimensions: technology, organization, and environment. To investigate these mechanisms, a combination of the necessary condition analysis method and the fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis method is employed. The research findings indicate that no necessary conditions exist for achieving high-level rural industrial revitalization. However, digital infrastructure and the digital financial environment have a universally significant impact. The study identifies four distinct pathways driving high-level rural industrial revitalization: digitaldriven, digital-government-talentdriven, digital-enterprisedriven, and digital-enterprise-talentdriven. Furthermore, significant variations exist in the driving pathways for rural industrial revitalization among the eastern, central, and western regions of China. By unveiling the multifaceted mechanisms underpinning the revitalization of rural industries, this research provides valuable practical insights for the future development of rural industries in China.</div

Nucleophilic Addition of Grignard Reagents to 3–Acylindoles: Stereoselective Synthesis of Highly Substituted Indoline Scaffolds

No full text
3-Acylindoles undergo nucleophilic-type reactions with Grignard reagents to efficiently afford either cis- or trans-substituted indolines, depending on the different quenching procedures. The enolate intermediate could be trapped by aryl acyl chlorides to provide indolines bearing a quaternary carbon center with high stereoselectivity. In contrast, the use of benzyl bromide as an electrophile results in the fragmentation of the indole ring. The indoline products could be easily transformed into indoles through oxidation with DDQ in a one-pot manner
