    TACTICAL SKILLS AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LEVEL OF TACTICAL THINKING AMONG FOOTBALL PLAYERS - A FIELD STUDY CONDUCTED ON CLUBS FROM BOUIRA PROVINCE, ALGERIA

    This study aimed to identify the relationship between the tactical skills level of tactical thinking among football players. To achieve this, the researchers used the analytical descriptive approach to preserve the suitability nature of the study on a sample of 75 players from 3 clubs of football at the level of clubs Bouira province, randomly chosen. By testing their standard tactical skills and tactical thinking, it has been found the following results: there is a strong positive relationship between the level of tactical skill and tactical thinking. In the light of the outcome, the researchers recommended as follows: (1) focus on footwork drills competent skills game handlers collective or tactical skills and connect it with the tactical thinking and (2) the need to identify the causes of ambitious player’s sports teams

    Serological Survey of Dominant Viral Diseases (Newcastle Disease (ND), Infectious Bronchitis (IB) and Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD)), in Broilers Flocks in Northern Algeria

    The present study was conducted to survey about sero-epidemiological status of Newcastle disease (ND), Infectious bronchitis (IB) and Infectious bursal disease (IBD) on Algerian broiler chicken (30 flocks/1200 sera) using ELISA method and to assess the influence of some risk factors related to each disease. Among all investigated flocks, ND was the most seroprevalent disease (63.33%); however, IB and IBD showed less serological positivity (40% and 16.66% respectively). For ND, Cobb 500 Flocks were significantly more seropositive by 78% (p = 0.025) than other strains. Nevertheless, flocks with good hygiene were significantly less seropositive to ND by 26% (p = 0.022). For IB, the risk of seropositivity was significantly lower in spring by 40% (p = 0.036). Although, flocks with higher density or with more than 30 days old were more seropositive respectively by 47% (p = 0.041) and 45% (p = 0.019). At last, when broiler chicken were not boosted by IBD vaccine, flocks appeared to be more seropositive by 48% (p = 0.047); especially in spring by 45% (p = 0.048); or in farms with poor hygiene by 65% (p = 0.004); however, more than flocks 30 days old flocks were less seropositive by 30% (p = 0.009)

    Serological, clinical, and risk factors of the Newcastle disease on broilers flocks in Algeria

    Aim: The work aimed at studying the serological and clinical factors, as well as the risk factors of the Newcastle disease (ND) on broilers herds in Algeria. Materials and Methods: A sample of 1248 birds was randomly selected from 52 broiler flocks. We took blood samples from each bird at the level of the wing vein area where an indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay technique was carried out through the use of an IDvet kit. Results: The flocks showed 82.69% of seroprevalence. Clinically speaking, the most common symptoms were sneezing, rale, greenish diarrhea, torticollis, and motor discords. Most commonly observed postmortem lesions were the proventriculitis, tracheitis, and enteritis. Especially, the caeca are hemorrhagic. The scores show the effect of risk factors. There was a significant effect on the mortality, the hygiene and vaccination groups on antibody titers in time 2. The antibody titers were elevated in the herd that recorded a high mortality (more than 10%) compared with those which recorded a low mortality (<10%) (p=0.002). Therefore, the antibody titers were elevated in herds with bad hygiene, compared with the ones with good hygiene (p=0.04). At last, when broiler chicken were not boosted by ND vaccine, flocks appeared to be more seropositive (p=0.02). Conclusion: The serological survey conducted in this study provided an important scope for ND as a dominant viral disease in broilers. Many factors are responsible for the onset of these diseases; correct biosecurity measures are needed to reduce the impact of this pathology in poultry farms
