    <p>This poster contrasts traditional engineering pedagogies, which focus principally on cognitive outcomes using abstraction and experimentation, with potentially transformational learning, which employs experience and reflection to education to conative and affective outcomes.</p> <p>The transformational approach engages the entire Kolb learning cycle, and causes students examine the role of values, ethics, and morals in their professional behavior.</p> <p>It was originally presented in Oct 2012 at the National Academy of Engineering workshop on the Frontiers of Engineering Education.</p
