Globalization has a great influence on the development of the independent state economies. Supply chain management (SCM) in the era of expanding global sourcing can play a critical role in diffusing corporate responsible practices throughout the emerging developing countries economies. Thus, this paper aims to examine how responsible SCM can contribute to supplier performance, including environmental, social and operational performances through the improvement of relationship commitment in the Asian context. The research deals with the economic aspect of globalization and analyzes the indicators that most closely reflect the development of countries in the globalizing world economy inward foreign direct investment, outward foreign direct investment, economic globalization index and the dependence of a country's GDP on foreign direct investment. It is assumed that foreign direct investment has a significant impact on the development of the country's economy. To check this hypothesis, the relationship between the growth of the gross domestic product of Asian countries and foreign direct investment is being investigated. The calculated correlation coefficient between the growth rates of the country's GDP and the growth rates of foreign direct investment did not show a relationship between these variables. Using the matrix to analyze Asian countries from the standpoint of inward foreign direct investment and the economic globalization index, it was determined that China and Singapore are the countries with high levels of inward FDI and high rates of economic globalization. The coefficient of economic globalization of such countries as Japan, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Malaysia, the Republic of Korea, India, Vietnam and Kyrgyzstan is above 50 out of 100. However, foreign direct investment in these countries is much lower than in China

UKRAINIAN-RUSSIAN CONFLICT IN THE DONBAS FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF WESTERN HISTORIOGRAPHY: CHARACTER, ORIGINS, REASONS

Object of research: analysis of the works of modern foreign authors, which reflect the process of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict in the Donbas, which cast doubt on the European security system, has complicated the lives of millions of citizens. Clarification of the reasons that led to the amorphous national identity of the population of Donbas, rejection of Western values, mythical ideas about fascists-Banderites. Disclosure of the diversity of assessments of Western historiography regarding the origins and causes of the conflict, its nature. From a critical point of view, the work of "geopolitical realists" who are trying to minimize the Kremlin’s actions in relation to Ukraine is considered. Investigated problem: to show and prove that the revival of Russian neo-imperialism, which even after 1991 considered Ukraine a vassal, became the main external factor that led to the escalation of the conflict and its actual “freezing”. The attention is focused on the reasons for the appearance of peculiar stereotypes of thinking and behavior of residents of the Donetsk basin, contrasted with the mentality of citizens of other regions, especially Western Ukraine. The cultural-historical split of Ukraine, which developed historically, could not be the cause of the armed conflict, even with the pole opposition “Lviv-Donetsk”. Therefore, the separatist sentiments that appeared in Donbas at certain times were not a mass phenomenon even in 2014 because of this, it is impossible to explain Russian aggravation of relations between the elites of Kyiv and Donbas without analyzing external interference. The state of affairs was also aggravated by both sabotage of the Donbas elites, they did not recognize the legitimacy of the new government in Kyiv after February 2014, and by the mistakes made by the central government in Kyiv. Hasty and ill-conceived, according to Western experts, was the adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of a law abolishing the regional status of the Russian language. The name of the military operations from the Kyiv side as “anti-terrorist operation” was doubtful. It was changed late. Main scientific results: in fact, for the first time in the historiography of Ukraine, the latest works of Western scholars on the Ukrainian-Russian conflict have been analyzed. Conclusions are made about the inconsistency of the views of Western historians regarding the nature and causes of the conflict, the prospects for its settlement

Diversification of structural and crisis risks in the energy sector of the ASEAN member countries

The study aims to assess the alternatives to the diversification of energy carriers in the ASEAN member countries in the context of minimizing the risks associated with the creation of an energy portfolio. The indicator of the diversification of the energy carriers of the country based on the Shannon-Wiener index is used. In order to identify possible changes in the energy market of the ASEAN member countries, three scenarios are proposed based on an increase in the share of renewable energy sources. The assessment of possible deviations from the expected results according to the described scenarios for an increase in the share of renewable energy sources made it possible to single out countries affected by positive and negative deviations

The object of research: technology for the production of waffles of increased consumer value with a fat filling using non-traditional plant raw materials. Investigated problem: the problem of the production of new waffles is solved by using a mixture of vegetable-butter and coconut oil, dry skim milk, carob powder, apple powder, cinnamon and ascorbic acid. Main scientific results: The use of non-traditional raw materials in the fatty filling of waffles increases the organoleptic properties of the products. Waffles have a pleasant taste and aroma due to the content of carob powder, apple powder and cinnamon in the filling. Due to the introduction of unconventional raw materials and herbal additives into the formulations of new products, the amount of total sugars was reduced. The mass fraction of fat also decreased due to the replacement of confectionery fat for waffle fillings with a vegetable-butter mixture and coconut oil. The moisture content of new samples of waffles and waffle sheets is within the established norms. It was found that the finished waffles meet the requirements of the state standard for physical and chemical indicators. The developed score helped to establish that the quality level of the developed waffles is 0.97. The area of practical use of the research results: food industry enterprises specializing in the production of confectionery. An innovative technological product: the technology for the production of waffles with a fat filling using non-traditional plant raw materials makes it possible to obtain a new confectionery product of increased consumer value with a balanced composition and high organoleptic properties. Scope of application of the innovative technological product: confectionery production of dietary product
