Serapias × ambigua Rouy ex E.G.Camus (Orchidaceae) in Croatian flora

U proljeće 2016. godine u okolici Medulina (Istra) uočena je hibridna svojta Serapias × ambigua Rouy ex E.G.Camus. Roditeljske vrste ovog hibrida su S. lingua L. i S. cordigera L. Dvije jedinke nađene su na malim travnatim površinama unutar šikare u kojoj dominira vrsta Juniperus oxycedrus L. Ovime je potvrđen raniji nalaz iz 2009. godine te svojtu treba uvrstiti na listu hrvatske flore.In the spring of 2016, a hybrid orchid Serapias × ambigua Rouy ex E.G.Camus was found near Medulin (Istria). Parental species of this hybrid are S. lingua L. and S. cordigera L. Two specimens were found on a small grassland within the scrub dominated by Juniperus oxycedrus L. This confirmed earlier finding from 2009 and this taxon should be included on the list of the Croatian flora

Prilog rasprostranjenosti rijetke vrste Veronica scardica Griseb. (Plantaginaceae) u Hrvatskoj

After being reported in Croatia for the first time in 2003, two new localities of the rare species Veronica scardica are presented in this paper. Accompanying species and corresponding vegetation are given for both localities. Additionally, morphological characters useful in distinguishing the similar taxa of the section Beccabunga are summarized.Nakon što je 2003. godine po prvi put zabilježena u Hrvatskoj, u ovom su radu predstavljena dva nova nalazišta rijetke vrste Veronica scardica. Na oba lokaliteta zabilježene su prateće vrste i pripadajuća vegetacija. Također, navedene su morfološke značajke korisne za razlikovanje sličnih svojti iz sekcije Beccabunga

Novi nalaz vrste Botrychium matricariifolium (Retz.) A. Br. ex Koch (Ophioglossaceae) u Hrvatskoj

In this short communication a new locality of the species Botrychium matricariifolium (Retz.) A. Br. ex Koch in the Risnjak National Park area (Croatia) is reported. Thirty years ago, after this species became extinct on Medvednica mountain, which was the only known locality in Croatia, it got the status of Regionally Extinct taxon (IUCN category RE). The new finding brings this species back to the list of recent national flora.U ovom kratkom priopćenju objavljuje se novo nalazište vrste Botrychium matricariifolium (Retz.) A. Br. ex Koch na području NP Risnjak (Hrvatska). Nakon što je ta vrsta prije 30-ak godina izumrla na Medvednici, jedinom poznatom nalazištu u R. Hrvatskoj, dobila je status regionalno izumrle svojte (IUCN kategorija RE). Stoga ovaj novi nalaz vraća tu vrstu na popis recentne nacionalne flore

Orchid hybrids (Orchidaceae) on the island of Krk

U sklopu sustavnog istraživanja porodice Orchidaceae na otoku Krku tijekom vegetacijskih sezona 2018., 2019. i 2020. zabilježeno je šest hibridnih svojti, dvije intergeneričke i četiri intrageneričke. Od toga je samo Orchis × gennarii Rchb. f. već uvrštena u bazu podataka Flora Croatica. Za pet od šest otkrivenih hibrida postoje literaturni podaci koji govore da su već ranije zabilježeni u Hrvatskoj, dok za intergenerički hibrid × Serapicamptis fontanae (E. G. Camus) H. Kretzschmar, Eccarius & H. Dietr. nisu nađeni objavljeni podaci za Hrvatsku, pa taj nalaz možemo smatrati prvim.Within the course of the systematic study of the Orchidaceae family on the island of Krk during the growing seasons of 2018, 2019, and 2020, six hybrid taxa were recorded, out of which two intergeneric and four intrageneric ones. Out of these, only Orchis × gennarii Rchb. f. has already been included in the Flora Croatica Database, although previous literature records for Croatia exist for five out of six discovered hybrids. No previous literature record was found for the intergeneric hybrid × Serapicamptis fontanae (E.G.Camus) H. Kretzschmar, Eccarius & H. Dietr., therefore this finding can be considered its first record in Croatia

Scutellaria orientalis L. (Lamiaceae) in the Croatian flora

Vrsta Scutellaria orientalis L. zabilježena je u Hrvatskoj sredinom i u drugoj polovici 19. te početkom 20. stoljeća u srednjoj i sjevernoj Dalmaciji, u okolici Senja te na otocima Rab, Krk i Prvić. Otada nije potvrđen nijedan od tih starih nalaza, a jedini novijeg datuma je iz 1998. godine kada je vrsta zabilježena na Medvednici iznad Zagreba. Godine 2009. S. orientalis otkrivena je na Podinarju kod Knina, a 2018. na još dva lokaliteta - na senjskom području na južnim padinama Velikog i Malog vrha iznad Tomišine drage te na otoku Krku. Na sva tri lokaliteta biljke su determinirane kao S. orientalis subsp. pinnatifida J.R.Edm. te ovi nalazi trenutno označavaju najzapadniju granicu rasprostranjenosti te balkanske podvrste. Tu svojtu ujedno valja dodati popisu hrvatske nacionalne flore jer je nedvojbeno da se svi nalazi vrste S. orientalis u Hrvatskoj odnose na podvrstu pinnatifida.The species Scutellaria orientalis L. was recorded in Croatia around the middle and in the second half of the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th in Northern and Central Dalmatia, in the environs of Senj, and on the islands of Rab, Krk, and Prvić. None of these old findings have been confirmed since, and the only recent observation is from 1998 when the species was recorded on Mt Medvednica above Zagreb. In 2009 S. orientalis was discovered at Podinarje near Knin and in 2018 in two more localities, on the southern slopes of Veli and Mali vrh above the gully Tomišina draga in the Senj region and on the island of Krk. In all three localities the plants were identified as S. orientalis subsp. pinnatifida J.R.Edm. and their records presently represent the westernmost border of the distribution of this Balkan subspecies. This taxon should also be added to the list of Croatian national flora, since all the finds of the species S. orientalis in Croatia doubtless refer to the subspecies pinnatifida
