The observation of two charged bottomonium-like structures Zb(10610)Z_b(10610) and Zb(10650)Z_b(10650) has stimulated extensive studies of the properties of Zb(10610)Z_b(10610) and Zb(10650)Z_b(10650). In this talk, we briefly introduce the research status of Zb(10610)Z_b(10610) and Zb(10650)Z_b(10650) combined with our theoretical progress.Comment: 6 pages, 1 table, 5 figures. Two charged strangeonium-like structures observable in the Y(2175)ϕ(1020)π+πY(2175) \to \phi(1020)\pi^{+} \pi^{-} process

Via the Initial Single Pion Emission (ISPE) mechanism, we study the ϕ(1020)π+\phi(1020)\pi^{+} invariant mass spectrum distribution of Y(2175)ϕ(1020)π+πY(2175) \to \phi(1020)\pi^{+} \pi^{-}. Our calculation indicates there exist a sharp peak structure (Zs1+Z_{s1}^+) close to the KKˉK\bar{K}^\ast threshold and a broad structure (Zs2+Z_{s2}^+) near the KKˉK^\ast\bar{K}^\ast threshold. In addition, we also investigate the ϕ(1680)ϕ(1020)π+π\phi(1680) \to \phi(1020)\pi^{+} \pi^{-} process due to the ISPE mechanism, where a sharp peak around the KKˉK\bar{K}^\ast threshold appears in the ϕ(1020)π+\phi(1020)\pi^{+} invariant mass spectrum distribution. We suggest to carry out the search for these charged strangeonium-like structures in future experiment, especially Belle II, Super-B and BESIII.Comment: 7 pages, 5 figures. Accepted by Eur. Phys. J.

Flux transitions in a superconducting ring

We perform a numeric study of the flux transitions in a superconducting ring at fixed temperature, while the applied field is swept at an ideally slow rate. The current around the ring and its free energy are evaluated. We partially explain some of the known experimental features, and predict a considerably large new feature: in the vicinity of a critical field, giant jumps are expected

Compact graphene mode-locked wavelength-tunable erbium-doped fiber lasers: from all anomalous dispersion towards all normal dispersion

Soliton operation and soliton wavelength tuning of erbium-doped fiber lasers mode locked with atomic layer graphene was experimentally investigated under various cavity dispersion conditions. It was shown that not only wide range soliton wavelength tuning but also soltion pulse width variation could be obtained in the fiber lasers. Our results show that the graphene mode locked erbium-doped fiber lasers provide a compact, user friendly and low cost wavelength tunable ultrahsort pulse source

Long-distant contribution and χc1\chi_{c1} radiative decays to light vector meson

The discrepancy between the PQCD calculation and the CLEO data for χc1γV\chi_{c1}\to \gamma V (V=ρ0,ω,ϕV=\rho^0,\,\omega,\,\phi) stimulates our interest in exploring extra mechanism of χc1\chi_{c1} decay. In this work, we apply an important non-perturbative QCD effect, i.e., hadronic loop mechanism, to study χc1γV\chi_{c1}\to \gamma V radiative decay. Our numerical result shows that the theoretical results including the hadronic loop contribution and the PQCD calculation of χc1γV\chi_{c1}\to \gamma V are consistent with the corresponding CLEO data of χc1γV\chi_{c1}\to \gamma V. We expect further experimental measurement of χc1γV\chi_{c1}\to \gamma V at BES-III, which will be helpful to test the hadronic loop effect on χc1\chi_{c1} decay.Comment: 7 pages, 2 figures. Local disorder and optical properties in V-shaped quantum wires : towards one-dimensional exciton systems

The exciton localization is studied in GaAs/GaAlAs V-shaped quantum wires (QWRs) by high spatial resolution spectroscopy. Scanning optical imaging of different generations of samples shows that the localization length has been enhanced as the growth techniques were improved. In the best samples, excitons are delocalized in islands of length of the order of 1 micron, and form a continuum of 1D states in each of them, as evidenced by the sqrt(T) dependence of the radiative lifetime. On the opposite, in the previous generation of QWRs, the localization length is typically 50 nm and the QWR behaves as a collection of quantum boxes. These localization properties are compared to structural properties and related to the progresses of the growth techniques. The presence of residual disorder is evidenced in the best samples and explained by the separation of electrons and holes due to the large in-built piezo-electric field present in the structure.Comment: 8 figure

From graphene and topological insulators to Weyl semimetals

Here we present a short introduction into physics of Dirac materials. In particular we review main physical properties of various two-dimensional crystals such as graphene, sil- icene, germanene and others. We comment on the origin of their buckled two-dimensional shape, and address the issues created by Mermin-Wagner theorem prohibiting the exis- tence of strictly two-dimensional, at crystals. Then we describe main ideas which were leading to the discovery of two and three-dimensional topological insulators and Weyl fermions. We describe some of their outstanding electronic properties which have been originating due to the existence of the Dirac gapless spectrum. We also compare simplest devices made of Dirac materials. Analogies and di erences between Dirac materials and optics are also discussed

Regio- and stereoselective organocatalyzed relay glycosylations to synthesize 2-amino-2-deoxy-1,3-dithioglycosides

Herein, we describe a novel methodology for the regio-and stereoselectiveconvergent synthesis of 2-amino-2-deoxy-dithioglycosides via one-potrelay glycosylation of 3-O-acetyl-2-nitroglucal donors. This unique organo-catalysis relay glycosylation features excellentsite- and stereoselectivity, good to excellent yields, mild reactionconditions, and broad substrate scope. 2-Amino-2-deoxy-glucosides/mannosidesbearing 1,3-dithio-linkages were efficiently obtained from 3-O-acetyl-2-nitroglucal donors in both stepwise and one-potglycosylation protocols. The dithiolated O-antigen of E. coli serogroup 64 was successfully synthesizedusing this newly developed method.Bio-organic Synthesi
