A Novel Interleaving Scheme for Polar Codes

It's known that the bit errors of polar codes with successive cancellation (SC) decoding are coupled. We call the coupled information bits the correlated bits. In this paper, concatenation schemes are studied for polar codes (as inner codes) and LDPC codes (as outer codes). In a conventional concatenation scheme, to achieve a better BER performance, one can divide all NlN_l bits in a LDPC block into NlN_l polar blocks to completely de-correlate the possible coupled errors. In this paper, we propose a novel interleaving scheme between a LDPC code and a polar code which breaks the correlation of the errors among the correlated bits. This interleaving scheme still keeps the simple SC decoding of polar codes while achieves a comparable BER performance at a much smaller delay compared with a NlN_l-block delay scheme

The input and deployment of human resources, such as senior executives and the core employees involved in different innovation processes, is key to developing enterprise innovation activities. Under the same framework, it is crucial to explore how employee equity incentive and senior executives’ psychological capital affect enterprise innovation. This paper’s research sample comprises listed companies that implemented equity incentives in the A-share market from 2010 to 2021, examining the relationship between executive psychological capital, and enterprise innovation. This study found that: (1) Employee equity incentive and executives’ psychological capital can significantly improve the quality of innovation output while promoting enterprises to increase the quantity of innovation outputs; (2) Executive psychological capital contributes to the intermediary effect between employee equity incentive and enterprise innovation; (3) R&D investment has a positive moderating effect on employee equity incentive, senior executives’ psychological capital and enterprise innovation; (4) The innovation incentive effect brought by the implementation of stock options by enterprises is more significant, which also makes the psychological capital of executives maintain a positive role in enterprise innovation; (5) In addition, the positive effects of employee equity incentive and executive psychological capital on enterprise innovation are affected by different property rights. The positive effects of employee equity incentive and executive psychological capital on enterprise innovation in state-owned enterprises are not high

The deflection of the crankshaft which transfers the power of motor to the pump of the compressor directly affects the vibration, noises and wear problems in the rotary compressor, therefore, with the requirement of higher reliability, it is important to obtain it exactly in compressor design. Various forces that the crankshaft suffers were calculated by theoretical analysis in the operation process of the compressor. And based on the finite element method (FEM), the deflection of the crankshaft was obtained by simulation in the rotary compressor. And then the measurements were performed concerning the orbit of the top dead centre of the crankshaft with non-contacting displacement sensors in the compressor. In comparison with the tests, the validity of the calculation method was verified. It was found that the results of calculation were good agreement with the tests’. In addition, several factors which affect the deflection of the crankshaft were analyzed with the FEM, and the influences of flange height, shaft diameter, mechanical air gap in the motor, rotor weight on the deflection were found distinctly, which as a primary theoretical basis is provided for the compressor design

Identifiability and Identification of Trace Continuous Pollutant Source

Accidental pollution events often threaten people’s health and lives, and a pollutant source is very necessary so that prompt remedial actions can be taken. In this paper, a trace continuous pollutant source identification method is developed to identify a sudden continuous emission pollutant source in an enclosed space. The location probability model is set up firstly, and then the identification method is realized by searching a global optimal objective value of the location probability. In order to discuss the identifiability performance of the presented method, a conception of a synergy degree of velocity fields is presented in order to quantitatively analyze the impact of velocity field on the identification performance. Based on this conception, some simulation cases were conducted. The application conditions of this method are obtained according to the simulation studies. In order to verify the presented method, we designed an experiment and identified an unknown source appearing in the experimental space. The result showed that the method can identify a sudden trace continuous source when the studied situation satisfies the application conditions

MODEL TEST AND COUPLED DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF A DEEPWATER FPSO WITH INTERNAL TURRET MOORING SYSTEM

Model test is an effective way to verify numerical dynamic analysis of floating system. The diffraction and radiation analysis is carried out in frequency domain based on potential theory to predict motion response of rigid platform. The quasi static and dynamic methods are usually adopted to simulate mooring system, which determines if the whole system is coupled within the analysis. Here model tests are performed to indicate the accuracy of potential theory and quasi static and dynamic methods for the whole system. A FPSO is tested under regular waves to find its RAO. The FPSO with internal turret mooring system under irregular wave, wind and current are also studied in the deepwater basin of Harbin Engineering University. The results are compared between the model test and numerical models, which show the model test results agree well with the coupled numerical model, while the maximum mooring tensions are under estimated in quasi static analysis

A Novel Structure of High Efficiency Rotary Compressor

    Get PDF
In recent years, various frequency compressors are developed rapidly and successfully in household air conditioner area. However, it is difficult to make advance progress on compressor performance, noise and reliability. The innovation of structure and technique are indispensable impetus to make a breakthrough. This paper presents a novel structure of high efficiency rotary compressor, which focuses on the connection mode between roller and vane of a compressor. On the one hand, the leakage gap between roller wall and vane tip is eliminated, which upgrades the capacity of compressor. On the other hand, through changing movement type of compressor parts, the mechanical state is meliorated and frictional loss is decreased. Several analysis are studied to validate the rationality of the above amelioration, which include strength and deformation simulation, frictional loss and leakage loss calculation. By comparison with conventional compressor, the performance of the novel compressor is improved obviously. In the end, the results of reliability and durability experiments reveal that they satisfy the national standard
