Strong Convergence Theorems for Mixed Equilibrium Problem and Asymptotically I
This paper aims to use a hybrid algorithm for finding a common element of a fixed point problem for a finite family of asymptotically nonexpansive mappings and the set solutions of mixed equilibrium problem in uniformly smooth and uniformly convex Banach space. Then, we prove some strong convergence theorems of the proposed hybrid algorithm to a common element of the above two sets under some suitable conditions
Economic Dispatch of an Integrated Microgrid Based on the Dynamic Process of CCGT Plant
Intra-day economic dispatch of an integrated microgrid is a fundamental
requirement to integrate distributed generators. The dynamic energy flows in
cogeneration units present challenges to the energy management of the
microgrid. In this paper, a novel approximate dynamic programming (ADP)
approach is proposed to solve this problem based on value function
approximation, which is distinct with the consideration of the dynamic process
constraints of the combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) plant. First, we
mathematically formulate the multi-time periods decision problem as a
finite-horizon Markov decision process. To deal with the thermodynamic process,
an augmented state vector of CCGT is introduced. Second, the proposed VFA-ADP
algorithm is employed to derive the near-optimal real-time operation
strategies. In addition, to guarantee the monotonicity of piecewise linear
function, we apply the SPAR algorithm in the update process. To validate the
effectiveness of the proposed method, we conduct experiments with comparisons
to some traditional optimization methods. The results indicate that our
proposed ADP method achieves better performance on the economic dispatch of the

Enhanced superconductivity in TiO epitaxial thin films
Titanium oxides have many fascinating optical and electrical properties, such as the superconductivity at 2 K in cubic titanium monoxide (TiO) polycrystalline bulk. However, the lack of TiO single crystals or epitaxial films has prevented systematic investigations on its superconductivity. Here, we report the basic superconductivity characterizations of cubic TiO films epitaxially grown on (0001)-oriented α-Al2O3 substrates. The magnetic and electronic transport measurements confirmed that TiO is a type-II superconductor and the recorded high Tc is about 7.4 K. The lower critical field (Hc1) at 1.9 K, the extrapolated upper critical field Hc2(0), and coherence length are about 18 Oe, 13.7 T, and 4.9 nm, respectively. With increasing pressure, the value of Tc shifts to lower temperature while the normal state resistivity increases. Our results on the superconducting TiO films confirm the strategy to achieve higher Tc in the epitaxial films, which may be helpful for finding more superconducting materials in various related systems
How medical insurance payment systems affect the physicians’ provision behavior in China—based on experimental economics
BackgroundIt introduced an artefactual field experiment to analyze the influence of incentives from fee-for-service (FFS) and diagnosis-intervention package (DIP) payments on physicians’ provision of medical services.MethodsThis study recruited 32 physicians from a national pilot city in China and utilized an artefactual field experiment to examine medical services provided to patients with different health status.ResultsIn general, the average quantities of medical services provided by physicians under the FFS payment were higher than the optimal quantities, the difference was statistically significant. While the average quantities of medical services provided by physicians under the DIP payment were very close to the optimal quantities, the difference was not statistically significant. Physicians provided 24.49, 14.31 and 5.68% more medical services to patients with good, moderate and bad health status under the FFS payment than under the DIP payment. Patients with good, moderate and bad health status experienced corresponding losses of 5.70, 8.10 and 9.42% in benefits respectively under the DIP payment, the corresponding reductions in profits for physicians were 10.85, 20.85 and 35.51%.ConclusionIt found patients are overserved under the FFS payment, but patients in bad health status can receive more adequate treatment. Physicians’ provision behavior can be regulated to a certain extent under the DIP payment and the DIP payment is suitable for the treatment of patients in relatively good health status. Doctors sometimes have violations under DIP payment, such as inadequate service and so on. Therefore, it is necessary to innovate the supervision of physicians’ provision behavior under the DIP payment. It showed both medical insurance payment systems and patients with difference health status can influence physicians’ provision behavior
EvIcon: Designing High-Usability Icon with Human-in-the-loop Exploration and IconCLIP
Interface icons are prevalent in various digital applications. Due to limited
time and budgets, many designers rely on informal evaluation, which often
results in poor usability icons. In this paper, we propose a unique
human-in-the-loop framework that allows our target users, i.e., novice and
professional UI designers, to improve the usability of interface icons
efficiently. We formulate several usability criteria into a perceptual
usability function and enable users to iteratively revise an icon set with an
interactive design tool, EvIcon. We take a large-scale pre-trained joint
image-text embedding (CLIP) and fine-tune it to embed icon visuals with icon
tags in the same embedding space (IconCLIP). During the revision process, our
design tool provides two types of instant perceptual usability feedback. First,
we provide perceptual usability feedback modeled by deep learning models
trained on IconCLIP embeddings and crowdsourced perceptual ratings. Second, we
use the embedding space of IconCLIP to assist users in improving icons' visual
distinguishability among icons within the user-prepared icon set. To provide
the perceptual prediction, we compiled IconCEPT10K, the first large-scale
dataset of perceptual usability ratings over interface icons, by
conducting a crowdsourcing study. We demonstrated that our framework could
benefit UI designers' interface icon revision process with a wide range of
professional experience. Moreover, the interface icons designed using our
framework achieved better semantic distance and familiarity, verified by an
additional online user study
