AbstractPararhabdepyris Gorbatovskii (Hymenoptera: Bethylidae) is newly recognized from South Korea. The genus can be easily recognized from other genera in Scleroderminae by having the head wider than it is long, the antenna with 10 flagellomeres, the clypeus with short projected median lobe, and the metasomal tergite II longer than the combined length of remained tergites. Description and illustrations of diagnostic characteristics of Pararhabdepyris paradoxus Gorbatovskii are provided. In addition, the present paper provides the first host record of Allobethylus Kieffer of Scleroderminae from the world. A revised key to genera and species of South Korean Scleroderminae is also presented

An investigation on the habitation of Callipogon relictus Semenov, 1899 in Gwangneung forest was carried out, where the Korea National Arboretum is located. In an investigation spanning the last eleven years (2007–2017), 22 emergence holes, nine pupal chambers, six adults, and two larvae of C. relictus were identified. In this study, biological information about habitation of C. relictus is provided by comparing and combining the results of this investigation with a survey conducted in Ussurisky Nature Reserve, Russia, in 2015. The distribution is also reviewed to include the Korean Peninsula and a new location of South Korea is added to the distribution for C. relictus

The genus Philostephanus Distant (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Miridae: Mirinae) is taxonomically reviewed in Korea. Two new records, P. tibialis (Lu and Zheng, 1998) and P. lucidus Yasunaga and Schwartz, 2007, are first reported from the Korean Peninsula. Diagnoses, detailed descriptions of male genitalia, a key to the Korean Philostephanus species, and brief biological information are provided with the photographs and illustrations. The subfamily Cylapinae (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Miridae) is first reviewed from Eastern continental region, the Korean Peninsula, with findings of four newly recorded species. The tribe Bothriomirini Kirkaldy is recognized for the first time based on the specimens of Bothriomiris gotohi Yasunaga, 2000. The genera Fulvius and Peritropis are also first reported with discoveries of F. ussuriensis Kerzhner, 1973, F. nozawai Yasunaga & Wolski, 2017, and P. advena Kerzhner, 1973. The record of genus Punctifulvius is confirmed on the basis of the species of Punctifulvius kerzhneri Schmitz, 1978. The variable character of F. nozawai between populations and ambiguous character of B. gotohi are discussed. The morphological information including diagnosis and brief biology of each species are presented. A key to the cylapine species in the continental region of Eastern Palaearctic Hemisphere is also provided. Keywords: Cylapinae, Continental region, Eastern Hemisphere, Miridae, New recor
