Factors Affecting Online Streaming Subscriptions
As digital media continues to expand, competition between cable television and online streaming services increases. Acquiring customers today takes more than just advertising; it requires tailoring business objectives to the needs and wants of consumers. Numerous studies have examined the connection between the adoption of cable and online media, and key variables such as cost, ease of use, and social trends. In this study, we explore a number of factors which consumers consider when choosing cable television and online streaming options. Sample data was collected through a survey questionnaire at a large public university. Multivariate regression models were developed to identify factors affecting each option. Both models showed statistical significance. The regression model for cable TV showed additional purchase, social trend (negative), cost and customer service factors were statistically significant. In contrast to the cable TV, only social trend and available options were significant in the regression model for online streaming. Media options were marginally significant. With respect to demographics, gender played no clear role while age showed marginal impact in choosing online streaming over cable television

Electronic Clinical Quality Measures of Health Information Technology and Hospital Performance: Evidence of U.S. Hospitals
Electronic clinical quality measures (eCQMs) are an integral part of health information technology (HIT). This study explores the effect of eCQM implementation on hospital performance. The study proposes hospital profitability, efficiency, and quality to measure hospital performance. Based on the literature, this research hypothesizes that implementing eCQMs would positively impact hospital profitability, efficiency, and quality. The sample data are drawn from the 2017 American Hospital Association (AHA) U.S. Hospital Survey datasets (N = 6282), the 2017 AHA U.S. Hospital I.T. Survey dataset (N = 3451), and the 2017 Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) datasets (N = 4345). This paper also analyzes the effect of four control variables in the profitablity models â hospital bed size, location, ownership, and teaching status. The study uses multiple regression models to test the hypotheses. Data strongly supports Hypothesis 1 (profitability), moderately supports Hypothesis 2 (efficiency), and does not support Hypothesis 3 (quality). Control variables show mixed results. Both theoretical and practical implications are discussed. Implications and future directions for this research shed light on the potential benefits of implementing eCQMs in hospitals

A Variation of the DeLone and McLean Model for Collaborative Commerce Services: A Structural Equation Model
This study intends to provide theory-driven empirical findings of the factors affecting usersâ loyalty to a collaborative commerce platform provider and further suggests that the platform loyalty lead to future extended use of collaborative commerce services. DeLone and McLean model serves as a basic framework for this study. Our variation of the model tested the impact of perceived value, relationship quality, and service quality on platform loyalty, which would influence future extended use of collaboration commerce services. Our results confirm that perceived value and platform quality were the best predictors for platform loyalty, which in turn, had a positive influence on future extended use intention

Exploring the Behavioral Intention to Use Collaborative Commerce: A Case of Uber
The goal of our research study is to develop a hybrid instrument built on the revised Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) framework, which is reliable in predicting the behavioral intention to use and subsequent use of the Uber ridesharing app. It focuses on extending the UTAUT2 in the area of collaborative consumption, particularly from a consumer and ridesharing-app perspective. Our proposed framework, UTAUT-CC, preserves existing UTAUT2 constructs â performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social expectancy, and facilitating conditions. It also retains demographic moderating variables of age and gender, while maintaining some of the key integral relationships depicted in those models. We integrated three new constructs deemed relevant in linking to collaborative consumption and a sharing economy â price, trust, and convenience. We incorporated elements of online services and offline services (O2O) together from respective perspectives of mobile technology and ridesharing. Our overall model explained 70.5% of the variance of behavioral intention of Uber. We conclude the paper by exploring actionable implications for practitioners and scholars
Actin Cytoskeleton and Golgi Involvement in Barley stripe mosaic virus Movement and Cell Wall Localization of Triple Gene Block Proteins.
Barley stripe mosaic virus (BSMV) induces massive actin filament thickening at the infection front of infected Nicotiana benthamiana leaves. To determine the mechanisms leading to actin remodeling, fluorescent protein fusions of the BSMV triple gene block (TGB) proteins were coexpressed in cells with the actin marker DsRed: Talin. TGB ectopic expression experiments revealed that TGB3 is a major elicitor of filament thickening, that TGB2 resulted in formation of intermediate DsRed:Talin filaments, and that TGB1 alone had no obvious effects on actin filament structure. Latrunculin B (LatB) treatments retarded BSMV cell-to-cell movement, disrupted actin filament organization, and dramatically decreased the proportion of paired TGB3 foci appearing at the cell wall (CW). BSMV infection of transgenic plants tagged with GFP-KDEL exhibited membrane proliferation and vesicle formation that were especially evident around the nucleus. Similar membrane proliferation occurred in plants expressing TGB2 and/or TGB3, and DsRed: Talin fluorescence in these plants colocalized with the ER vesicles. TGB3 also associated with the Golgi apparatus and overlapped with cortical vesicles appearing at the cell periphery. Brefeldin A treatments disrupted Golgi and also altered vesicles at the CW, but failed to interfere with TGB CW localization. Our results indicate that actin cytoskeleton interactions are important in BSMV cell-to-cell movement and for CW localization of TGB3

Testing an alternative relationship between individual and contextual predictors of creative performance.
Existing studies have been focused mainly on the effects of individual and contextual factors on creativity, leaving unaddressed the intermediate processes through which these predictors affect creativity. Based on previous theoretical arguments, we proposed that individuals' cognitive and affective states with regard to creativity comprise the direct antecedents of creative performance. Specifically, we hypothesized that creativity efficacy and positive attitude toward creativity mediate the effects on creative performance of individual creative ability, supportive leadership, and constructive group norms. The empirical results based on multisource, longitudinal panel data clearly indicate that these cognitive and affective process variables mediate the effects of both individual and contextual variables on creative performance. These findings reveal potential psychological processes that should be targeted when educators and managers design interventions to increase creative performance of individuals

Deep Sequencing Analysis of Apple Infecting Viruses in Korea
Deep sequencing has generated 52 contigs derived from five viruses; Apple chlorotic leaf spot virus (ACLSV), Apple stem grooving virus (ASGV), Apple stem pitting virus (ASPV), Apple green crinkle associated virus (AGCaV), and Apricot latent virus (ApLV) were identified from eight apple samples showing small leaves and/or growth retardation. Nucleotide (nt) sequence identity of the assembled contigs was from 68% to 99% compared to the reference sequences of the five respective viral genomes. Sequences of ASPV and ASGV were the most abundantly represented by the 52 contigs assembled. The presence of the five viruses in the samples was confirmed by RT-PCR using specific primers based on the sequences of each assembled contig. All five viruses were detected in three of the samples, whereas all samples had mixed infections with at least two viruses. The most frequently detected virus was ASPV, followed by ASGV, ApLV, ACLSV, and AGCaV which were withal found in mixed infections in the tested samples. AGCaV was identified in assembled contigs ID 1012480 and 93549, which showed 82% and 78% nt sequence identity with ORF1 of AGCaV isolate Aurora-1. ApLV was identified in three assembled contigs, ID 65587, 1802365, and 116777, which showed 77%, 78%, and 76% nt sequence identity respectively with ORF1 of ApLV isolate LA2. Deep sequencing assay was shown to be a valuable and powerful tool for detection and identification of known and unknown virome in infected apple trees, here identifying ApLV and AGCaV in commercial orchards in Korea for the first time
Structural Basis of Inhibition of DCLK1 by Ruxolitinib
Given the functional attributes of Doublecortin-like kinase 1 (DCLK1) in tumor growth, invasion, metastasis, cell motility, and tumor stemness, it is emerging as a therapeutic target in gastrointestinal cancers. Although a series of specific or nonspecific ATP-competitive inhibitors were identified against DCLK1, different types of scaffolds that can be utilized for the development of highly selective inhibitors or structural understanding of binding specificities of the compounds remain limited. Here, we present our work to repurpose a Janus kinase 1 inhibitor, ruxolitinib as a DCLK1 inhibitor, showing micromolar binding affinity and inhibitory activity. Furthermore, to gain an insight into its interaction mode with DCLK1, a crystal structure of the ruxolitinib-complexed DCLK1 has been determined and analyzed. Ruxolitinib as a nonspecific DCLK1 inhibitor characterized in this work is anticipated to provide a starting point for the structure-guided discovery of selective DCLK1 inhibitors
