Today, using spare time to learn is the key demands of mobile education field. With the characteristics of portability, educational Apps highly fit for this kind of demands, and contribute to the learning style on the fingertip, it becoming the new growth direction and growing point of mobile education. The understanding of the present situation and Prospect of educational Apps is the basis for further research on educational Apps. Based on introduction of educational Apps, this paper discussed the opportunities and challenges of educational Apps faced: mobile terminal and wireless network, the use habit of the user, mobile learning and online education market create good conditions for the development of educational Apps, at the same time, the imbalance of development, poor quality and unclear business model is the restriction factors of the development of educational Apps. This paper points out that enhance the quality, balanced development, enrich and develop market strategy is the key to make a breakthrough in the predicament, realize rapid development of educational Apps. Key words: Educational Apps, Mobile education, Mobile education Applicatio

The Misunderstanding About Inquiry Teaching in High Education in China

Inquiry teaching has got great development and achieved remarkable results in China, but the problems still exist in the teaching practice of primary education. This paper analyzes the formal problem of inquiry teaching, pointed out that there are four misunderstanding about inquiry teaching: Firstly, inquiry teaching is experimental course; Secondly, inquiry teaching has curing routines; Thirdly, inquiry teaching can replace the other teaching methods; Fourthly, inquiry teaching is not conducive to improve test scores. The misunderstanding of inquiry teaching affected teaching effect. Based on the above analysis, this paper try to explores the main cause of inquiry teaching formal problems from the subjective perspective, in order to seek the way to overcome the formal problems of inquiry teaching

Comprehensive analysis of renewable hybrid energy systems in highway tunnels

    Get PDF
In order to explore the feasibility of a renewable hybrid energy system in highway tunnels, a scenario-coupled construction method for a highway tunnel renewable hybrid energy system is proposed. Based on this method, a tunnel on a highway in southern China serves as an example, and a renewable hybrid energy system for the highway tunnel is constructed. Using HOMER, the hybrid energy system is simulated, optimized, and analyzed, studying the characteristics of the operation of the highway tunnel hybrid renewable energy system in an off-grid mode. The optimal configuration for the hybrid energy system is proposed. The research results indicate the feasibility of constructing a highway tunnel renewable hybrid energy system by utilizing natural resources within the road area (solar energy, wind energy). The hybrid renewable energy system for this tunnel can provide 1112392 kWh of electrical energy annually, with the lowest energy cost being $0.17/kW. Furthermore, the hybrid energy system can reduce greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to the sustainable development of the environment

Salmon Calcitonin Exerts an Antidepressant Effect by Activating Amylin Receptors

Depressive disorder is defined as a psychiatric disease characterized by the core symptoms of anhedonia and learned helplessness. Currently, the treatment of depression still calls for medications with high effectiveness, rapid action, and few side effects, although many drugs, including fluoxetine and ketamine, have been approved for clinical usage by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In this study, we focused on calcitonin as an amylin receptor polypeptide, of which the antidepressant effect has not been reported, even if calcitonin gene-related peptides have been previously demonstrated to improve depressive-like behaviors in rodents. Here, the antidepressant potential of salmon calcitonin (sCT) was first evaluated in a chronic restraint stress (CRS) mouse model of depression. We observed that the immobility duration in CRS mice was significantly increased during the tail suspension test and forced swimming test. Furthermore, a single administration of sCT was found to successfully rescue depressive-like behaviors in CRS mice. Lastly, AC187 as a potent amylin receptor antagonist was applied to investigate the roles of amylin receptors in depression. We found that AC187 significantly eliminated the antidepressant effects of sCT. Taken together, our data revealed that sCT could ameliorate a depressive-like phenotype probably via the amylin signaling pathway. sCT should be considered as a potential therapeutic candidate for depressive disorder in the future

The hot flow behavior of Al-2wt.%Cu-1wt.%Mn alloy based on Gleebe-3800 hot compression simulation

    No full text
Flow behavior of Al-2.0wt.%Cu-1.0wt.%Mn aluminum alloy was investigated by hot compressive test using a Gleebe-3800 thermal simulator. The test parameters about temperature and strain rate range from 573K to 773 K and from 0.01s-1 to 5s-1, respectively, and the true strain is up to 0.6. It can be seen that the peak flow stress increases with increasing the strain rate and decreases by deformation temperature. And the deformation activation energy of Al-2.0wt.%Cu-1.0wt.%Mn alloy is 183.02KJ/mol. A constitutive equation has been constructed to predict the hot deformation behavior, and correlate the peak flow stress predicted with strain rate and deformation temperature
