The role of E1-E2 interplay in multiphonon Coulomb excitation
In this work we study the problem of a charged particle, bound in a
harmonic-oscillator potential, being excited by the Coulomb field from a fast
charged projectile. Based on a classical solution to the problem and using the
squeezed-state formalism we are able to treat exactly both dipole and
quadrupole Coulomb field components. Addressing various transition amplitudes
and processes of multiphonon excitation we study different aspects resulting
from the interplay between E1 and E2 fields, ranging from classical dynamic
polarization effects to questions of quantum interference. We compare exact
calculations with approximate methods. Results of this work and the formalism
we present can be useful in studies of nuclear reaction physics and in atomic
stopping theory.Comment: 10 pages, 6 figure
A Novel Image Encryption Algorithm Based on Voice Key and Chaotic Map
This paper proposes a new image encryption algorithm. First, time-domain and frequency-domain features of the user’s voice are extracted to generate a voice key. Second, the key is iterated through a chaotic map multiple times to map the key data to the chaotic oscillation region, and, subsequently, the parameters of the oscillation area are used to encrypt the user’s image. Third, at the time of decryption, the user’s latest voice data are re-extracted to generate a new voice key and decrypt the encrypted image. The encrypted image cannot be successfully decrypted if there are differences between the two extracted voices in the time or frequency domain. Finally, the experiments are performed using 80 groups of face images and voice data, all of which pass the encryption and decryption experiments. In addition, various safety tests have been carried out on the algorithm. The key sensitivity of the algorithm is verified by the normalized cross-correlation parameter Cncc. The effective anti-attack ability of the algorithm is verified by measuring the correlation between adjacent pixels, the number of changing pixel rate (NPCR) and the unified averaged changed intensity (UACI). The key space of the proposed algorithm is greater than 2100, and it has good anti-cracking ability
New Measurement Method of Oil-Water Two-Phase Flow with High Water Holdup and Low Rate by Phase State Regulation
Flow rate and holdup are two essential parameters to describe oil-water two-phase flow. The distribution of oil-water two-phase flow in the pipeline is very uneven, and there is a significant slippage between the phases. This makes it difficult to measure these two flow parameters. In this paper, a new measurement method of flow rate and holdup based on phase state regulation is proposed. The oil-water two-phase flow is adjusted to oil or water single-phase flow according to the time sequence by the phase state regulation, and the oil-water phase interface is measured with a conductance sensor. A wavelet transform based phase inflection point detection model is proposed to detect the oil-water phase change point. The experimental results show that the maximum measurement error of the flow rate of water is 3.73%, the maximum measurement error of the flow rate of oil is 3.68%, and the flow rate measurement repeatability is 0.0002. The accuracy of the measurement holdup is better than 3.23%, and the repeatability of the measurement holdup is 0.0003. The prototype designed based on this method has two advantages. One is that it is small in size, the other is that it does not depend on the accuracy of the sensor. Therefore, it can be widely used in oilfield ground measurement
Oil Phase Velocity Measurement of Oil-Water Two-Phase Flow with Low Velocity and High Water Cut Using the Improved ORB and RANSAC Algorithm
Velocity is an important parameter for fluid flow characteristics in profile logging. Particle tracking velocimetry (PTV) technology is often used to study the flow characteristics of oil wells with low flow velocity and high water cut, and the key to PTV technology is particle matching. The existing particle matching algorithms of PTV technology do not meet the matching demands of oil drops in the oil phase velocity measurement of oil-water two-phase flow with low velocity and high water cut. To raise the particle matching precision, we improved the particle matching algorithm from the oriented FAST and the rotated BRIEF (ORB) feature description and the random sample consensus (RANSAC) algorithm. The simulation and experiment were carried out. Simulation results show that the improved algorithm not only increases the number of matching points but also reduces the computation. The experiment shows that the improved algorithm in this paper not only reduces the computation of the feature description process, reaching half of the computation amount of the original algorithm, but also increases the number of matching results, thus improving the measurement accuracy of oil phase velocity. Compared with the SIFT algorithm and the ORB algorithm, the improved algorithm has the largest number of matching point pairs. And the variation coefficient of this algorithm is 0.039, which indicates that the algorithm is stable. The mean error of oil phase velocity measurement of the improved algorithm is 1.20 %, and the maximum error is 6.16 %, which is much lower than the maximum error of PTV, which is 25.89 %. The improved algorithm overcomes the high computation cost of the SIFT algorithm and achieves the precision of the SIFT algorithm. Therefore, this study contributes to the improvement of the measurement accuracy of oil phase velocity and provides reliable production logging data for oilfield
Analysis and Evaluation on Residual Strength of Pipelines with Internal Corrosion Defects in Seasonal Frozen Soil Region
In order to study the residual strength of buried pipelines with internal corrosion defects in seasonally frozen soil regions, we established a thermo-mechanical coupling model of a buried pipeline under differential frost heave by using the finite element elastoplastic analysis method. The material nonlinearity and geometric nonlinearity were considered as the basis of analysis. Firstly, the location of the maximum Mises equivalent stress in the inner wall of the buried non-corroded pipeline was determined. Furthermore, the residual strength of the buried pipeline with corrosion defects and the stress state of internal corrosion area in the pipeline under different defect parameters was analyzed by the orthogonal design method. Based on the data results of the finite element simulation calculation, the prediction formula of residual strength of buried pipelines with internal corrosion defects was obtained by SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) fitting. The prediction results were analyzed in comparison with the evaluation results of B31G, DNV RP-F101 and the experimental data of hydraulic blasting. The rationality of the finite element model and the accuracy of the fitting formula were verified. The results show that the effect degree of main factors on residual strength was in order of corrosion depth, corrosion length, and corrosion width. when the corrosion length exceeds 600 mm, which affects the influence degree of residual strength will gradually decrease. the prediction error of the fitting formula is small and the distribution is uniform, it can meet the prediction requirements of failure pressure of buried pipelines with internal corrosion defects in seasonally frozen soil regions. This method may provide some useful theoretical reference for the simulation real-time monitoring and safety analysis in the pipeline operation stage

Quantitative Analysis of Leakage Consequences of LNG Ship-to-Ship Bunkering Based on CFD
Leakage incidents on LNG bunker vessels will result in a serious degree of hazard. This paper investigates typical high-risk scenarios such as hose ruptures and valve joint leakages. The consequences of an LNG leakage accident during the simultaneous operation of a bunker vessel and a container carrier are simulated using the FLACS software, and the dispersion range of the combustible vapor cloud is quantitatively analyzed under both ballast and laden conditions. Under the ballast condition, the diffusion range of the combustible vapor cloud on the side of the bunker vessel is 58 Ă— 15.5 m from the front wall of the cargo equipment room to the bow of the vessel, and 35 Ă— 9.5 m between the cargo equipment room and the transom of the vessel. Under the laden condition, the diffusion range on the side of the bunker vessel is 58 Ă— 15.5 m from the front wall of the cargo equipment room to the bow of the vessel, and 15 Ă— 4 m between the rear end wall of the cargo equipment room and the front wall of the stern of the vessel. These results provide important technical guidance and reference values for the safe operation of LNG bunker vessels
Biomimetic injectable hydrogel microspheres with enhanced lubrication and controllable drug release for the treatment of osteoarthritis
The occurrence of osteoarthritis (OA) is highly associated with the reduced lubrication property of the joint, where a progressive and irreversible damage of the articular cartilage and consecutive inflammatory response dominate the mechanism. In this study, bioinspired by the super-lubrication property of cartilage and catecholamine chemistry of mussel, we successfully developed injectable hydrogel microspheres with enhanced lubrication and controllable drug release for OA treatment. Particularly, the lubricating microspheres (GelMA@DMA-MPC) were fabricated by dip coating a self-adhesive polymer (DMA-MPC, synthesized by free radical copolymerization) on superficial surface of photo-crosslinked methacrylate gelatin hydrogel microspheres (GelMA, prepared via microfluidic technology), and encapsulated with an anti-inflammatory drug of diclofenac sodium (DS) to achieve the dual-functional performance. The tribological test and drug release test showed the enhanced lubrication and sustained drug release of the GelMA@DMA-MPC microspheres. In addition, the functionalized microspheres were intra-articularly injected into the rat knee joint with an OA model, and the biological tests including qRT-PCR, immunofluorescence staining assay, X-ray radiography and histological staining assay all revealed that the biocompatible microspheres provided significant therapeutic effect against the development of OA. In summary, the injectable hydrogel microspheres developed herein greatly improved lubrication and achieved sustained local drug release, therefore representing a facile and promising technique for the treatment of OA
