Online Filter Clustering and Pruning for Efficient Convnets

Pruning filters is an effective method for accelerating deep neural networks (DNNs), but most existing approaches prune filters on a pre-trained network directly which limits in acceleration. Although each filter has its own effect in DNNs, but if two filters are the same with each other, we could prune one safely. In this paper, we add an extra cluster loss term in the loss function which can force filters in each cluster to be similar online. After training, we keep one filter in each cluster and prune others and fine-tune the pruned network to compensate for the loss. Particularly, the clusters in every layer can be defined firstly which is effective for pruning DNNs within residual blocks. Extensive experiments on CIFAR10 and CIFAR100 benchmarks demonstrate the competitive performance of our proposed filter pruning method.Comment: 5 pages, 4 figure

Multiparty quantum secret splitting and quantum state sharing

A protocol for multiparty quantum secret splitting is proposed with an ordered NN EPR pairs and Bell state measurements. It is secure and has the high intrinsic efficiency and source capacity as almost all the instances are useful and each EPR pair carries two bits of message securely. Moreover, we modify it for multiparty quantum state sharing of an arbitrary mm-particle entangled state based on quantum teleportation with only Bell state measurements and local unitary operations which make this protocol more convenient in a practical application than others.Comment: 7 pages, 1 figure. Semileptonic decays of BcB_c meson to S-wave charmonium states in the perturbative QCD approach

Inspired by the recent measurement of the ratio of BcB_c branching fractions to J/ψπ+J/\psi \pi^+ and J/ψμ+νμJ/\psi \mu^+\nu_{\mu} final states at the LHCb detector, we study the semileptonic decays of BcB_c meson to the S-wave ground and radially excited 2S and 3S charmonium states with the perturbative QCD approach. After evaluating the form factors for the transitions Bc→P,VB_c\rightarrow P,V, where PP and VV denote pseudoscalar and vector S-wave charmonia, respectively, we calculate the branching ratios for all these semileptonic decays. The theoretical uncertainty of hadronic input parameters are reduced by utilizing the light-cone wave function for BcB_c meson. It is found that the predicted branching ratios range from 10−610^{-6} up to 10−210^{-2} and could be measured by the future LHCb experiment. Our prediction for the ratio of branching fractions BR(Bc+→J/Ψπ+)BR(Bc+→J/Ψμ+νμ)\frac{\mathcal {BR}(B_c^+\rightarrow J/\Psi \pi^+)}{\mathcal {BR}(B_c^+\rightarrow J/\Psi \mu^+\nu_{\mu})} is in good agreement with the data. For Bc→VlνlB_c\rightarrow V l \nu_l decays, the relative contributions of the longitudinal and transverse polarization are discussed in different momentum transfer squared regions. These predictions will be tested on the ongoing and forthcoming experiments.Comment: 12 pages, 3 figures, 5 table
