Due usi di Ovidio a confronto in Cino da Pistoia lirico (Se mai leggesti versi de l’Ovidi & Amor, che viene armato a doppio dardo)

Il saggio si occupa di indagare l’influsso ovidiano in due sonetti di Cino da Pistoia. Considerata lungamente come il trait d’union tra Dante e Petrarca, la poesia ciniana non è stata tuttavia sottoposta a un’indagine sistematica delle sue fonti classiche, che nello stesso torno d’anni Dante e Petrarca sfruttarono ampiamente nelle rispettive opere. Nell’articolo saranno presi in considerazione due esempi contrapposti dell’uso di Ovidio in Cino, dimostrando che nel primo caso (Se mai leggesti) il riferimento a Ovidio è stereotipato, e che invece nel secondo componimento (Amor, che viene armato) si approda a una riscrittura personale, ma fedele, del testo ovidiano.Cette contribution s’emploie à mettre au clair l’influence d’Ovide dans deux sonnets de Cino da Pistoia. Considérée pendant longtemps comme le trait d’union entre Dante et Pétrarque, la poésie de Cino n’a toutefois jamais été soumise à un examen approfondi des sources classiques auxquelles elle a puisé au moment même où Dante et Pétrarque exploitèrent abondamment ces sources dans leurs propres œuvres. L’article prend en considération deux exemples opposés du recours à Ovide chez Cino, pour montrer que, dans le premier cas (Se mai leggesti), le renvoi à l’auteur latin est de l’ordre du stéréotype, quand dans le deuxième (Amor, che viene armato), Cino aboutit à une réécriture personnelle, quoique fidèle, du texte ovidien

Fra i settori degli studi danteschi che hanno conosciuto un maggiore progresso negli ultimi anni, un posto di rilievo spetta alle ricerche sul contesto socio-culturale in cui Dante si è formato, fra gli ambienti fiorentini delle grandi biblioteche, come S. Croce e S. M. Novella, e quelli bolognesi delle disputationes laiche o religiose. Attraverso l’apporto decisivo degli ambienti e dei contatti dell’esilio, il bagaglio culturale di Dante cresce fino a comprendere una moltitudine di auctoritates che si stratificano nel poema e nelle opere minori. Grazie a una nuova mappatura digitale della conoscenza dantesca espressa dal secolare commento, il progetto Hypermedia Dante Network – finanziato nell’ambito del PRIN 2017 – permette di estendere e integrare l’analisi della multiforme cultura dantesca, dalle fonti classiche alle compilazioni scientifiche, dalle raccolte sapienziali ai cicli cavallereschi romanzi, con nuove indagini basate sugli standard del Semantic Web. In this paper, we present the Hypermedia Dante Network (HDN) project. First, we briefly introduce the relevant state of the art on Dante’s commentaries and their digital representation, and we outline the project goals. In the main section, we present the core features of the HDN ontology, an evolution of the DanteSources ontology that aims at representing knowledge about Dante’s primary sources as they are identified by a vast range of commentaries. Then, we describe the tool that has been developed to process Dante’s commentaries and populate the HDN ontology. Finally, we comment on the project’s usability and possible outcomes for both scholars and common users

A formal representation of the Divine Comedy’s primary sources: The Hypermedia Dante Network ontology

Hypermedia Dante Network (HDN) is a 3-year Italian National Research Project, started in 2020, which aims to enrich the functionalities of the DanteSources Digital Library to efficiently represent knowledge about the primary sources of Dante’s Comedy. DanteSources allows users to retrieve and visualize the list and the distribution of Dante's primary sources that have been identified by recent commentaries of five of Dante’s minor works (i.e. Vita nova, De vulgari eloquentia, Convivio, De Monarchia, and Rime). The digital library is based on a formal ontology expressed in Resource Description Framework Schema (RDFS) language. Based on the DanteSources experience, the HDN project aims to formally represent the primary sources of the Divine Comedy whose identification is based on several commentaries included in the Dartmouth Dante Project corpus. To reach this goal, we restructured and extended the DanteSources ontology to provide a wider and more complete representation of the knowledge concerning the primary sources of the Comedy. In this article, we present the result of this effort, i.e. the HDN ontology. The ontology is expressed in OWL and has as reference ontologies the CIDOC CRM and its extension FRBRoo, including its in-progress reformulation LRMoo. We also briefly describe the semi-automatic tool that will be used by the scholars to populate the ontology

Ce numéro 19 de "Varia" réunit des contributions diverses et des comptes rendus de lecture.Les quatre premiers articles sont le fruit du travail de jeunes chercheurs. Deux contributions "linguistiques", domaine peu fréquenté par les études italiennes en France. Un essai sur les "raisons ovidiennes" de la poésie de Cino da Pistoia. Enfin, un prolongement du numéro précédent de la revue, avec une étude approfondie sur les "raisons du corps" dans l'oeuvre de Pétrarque.Les comptes rendus, quant à eux, entendent d'abord signaler à l'attention de la communauté scientifique des parutions récentes (dans le domaine des études médiévales italiennes) qui, sans que nous prétendions à l'exhaustivité, nous ont paru particulièrement importantes.Entre les deux séries, un dossier spécial consacré à la figure du grand philologue Gianfranco Contini. Les aperçus originaux qui le nourrissent, attentifs notamment aux échos du travail du savant et du critique de ce côté-ci des Alpes, prolongent une réflexion plus vaste conduite par les animateurs de la revue Ermeneutica letteraria sur l’« actualité » de Contini plus d’un quart de siècle après sa disparition
