    : Malaria is an infectious disease caused by a parasite (protozoa) of the genus Plasmodium that can be transmitted through the bite of the female anopheles mosquito. Malaria in West Southeast Maluku regency is still a public health problem, according to a profile of Maluku Health Department in 2010 as many as 370 people and in 2011 from the month of January - July, as many as 114 people. The purpose of this study was to determine Habits Village Community Relations Tumbur with Genesis Malaria in Sub health center working area Wertambrian West Southeast Maluku regency. Type of study is an observational cross-sectional study design. This study used 99 respondents and the data were analyzed using the Pearson chi-square test. This study proved that there is a relationship between the customs of the people with malaria incidence (chi-square analysis ρ = 0.000)
