Tripartite Graph Clustering for Dynamic Sentiment Analysis on Social Media
The growing popularity of social media (e.g, Twitter) allows users to easily
share information with each other and influence others by expressing their own
sentiments on various subjects. In this work, we propose an unsupervised
\emph{tri-clustering} framework, which analyzes both user-level and tweet-level
sentiments through co-clustering of a tripartite graph. A compelling feature of
the proposed framework is that the quality of sentiment clustering of tweets,
users, and features can be mutually improved by joint clustering. We further
investigate the evolution of user-level sentiments and latent feature vectors
in an online framework and devise an efficient online algorithm to sequentially
update the clustering of tweets, users and features with newly arrived data.
The online framework not only provides better quality of both dynamic
user-level and tweet-level sentiment analysis, but also improves the
computational and storage efficiency. We verified the effectiveness and
efficiency of the proposed approaches on the November 2012 California ballot

Quartic Gauge Boson Couplings and Tree Unitarity in the SU(3)_C X SU(3)_L X U(1)_N Models
The quartic gauge boson couplings in the models are presented. We find that the couplings of four {\it
differrent} gauge bosons may have unusual Lorentz structure and the couplings

Seagrass habitats of northeast Australia: models of key processes and controls
An extensive and diverse assemblage of seagrass habitats exists along the tropical and subtropical coastline of north east Australia and the associated Great Barrier Reef. In their natural state, these habitats are characterised by very low nutrient concentrations and are primarily nitrogen limited. Summer rainfall and tropical storms/cyclones lead to large flows of sediment-laden fresh water. Macro grazers, dugongs (Dugong dugon) and green sea turtles (Chelonia mydas) are an important feature in structuring tropical Australian seagrass communities. In general, all seagrass habitats in north east Australia are influenced by high disturbance and are both spatially and temporally variable. This paper classifies the diversity into four habitat types and proposes the main limiting factor for each habitat. The major processes that categorise each habitat are described and significant threats or gaps in understanding are identified. Four broad categories of seagrass habitat are defined as 'River estuaries', 'Coastal', 'Deep water' and 'Reef', and the dominant controlling factors are terrigenous runoff, physical disturbance, low light and low nutrients, respectively. Generic concepts of seagrass ecology and habitat function have often been found inappropriate to the diverse range of seagrass habitats in north east Australian waters. The classification and models developed here explain differences in habitats by identifying ecological functions and potential response to impacts in each habitat. This understanding will help to better focus seagrass management and research in tropical habitats
Entanglement in a two-identical-particle system
The definition of entanglement in identical-particle system is introduced.
The separability criterion in two-identical particle system is given. The
physical meaning of the definition is analysed. Applications to two-boson and
two-fermion systems are made. It is found new entanglement and correlation
phenomena in identical-boson systems exist, and they may have applications in

CD4+ T-cell responses to Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) latent-cycle antigens and the recognition of EBV-transformed lymphoblastoid cell lines
There is considerable interest in the potential of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) latent antigen-specific CD4 T cells to act as direct effectors controlling EBV-induced B lymphoproliferations. Such activity would require direct CD4 T-cell recognition of latently infected cells through epitopes derived from endogenously expressed viral proteins and presented on the target cell surface in association with HLA class II molecules. It is therefore important to know how often these conditions are met. Here we provide CD4 epitope maps for four EBV nuclear antigens, EBNA1, -2, -3A, and -3C, and establish CD4 T-cell clones against 12 representative epitopes. For each epitope we identify the relevant HLA class II restricting allele and determine the efficiency with which epitope-specific effectors recognize the autologous EBV-transformed B-lymphoblastoid cell line (LCL). The level of recognition measured by gamma interferon release was consistent among clones to the same epitope but varied between epitopes, with values ranging from 0 to 35% of the maximum seen against the epitope peptide-loaded LCL. These epitope-specific differences, also apparent in short-term cytotoxicity and longer-term outgrowth assays on LCL targets, did not relate to the identity of the source antigen and could not be explained by the different functional avidities of the CD4 clones; rather, they appeared to reflect different levels of epitope display at the LCL surface. Thus, while CD4 T-cell responses are detectable against many epitopes in EBV latent proteins, only a minority of these responses are likely to have therapeutic potential as effectors directly recognizing latently infected target cells
Risk Assessment and Comparative Effectiveness of Left Ventricular Assist Device and Medical Management in Ambulatory Heart Failure Patients The ROADMAP Study 2-Year Results
OBJECTIVES The authors sought to provide the pre-specified primary endpoint of the ROADMAP (Risk Assessment and Comparative Effectiveness of Left Ventricular Assist Device and Medical Management in Ambulatory Heart Failure Patients) trial at 2 years. BACKGROUND The ROADMAP trial was a prospective nonrandomized observational study of 200 patients (97 with a left ventricular assist device [LVAD], 103 on optimal medical management [OMM]) that showed that survival with improved functional status at 1 year was better with LVADs compared with OMM in a patient population of ambulatory New York Heart Association functional class IIIb/IV patients. METHODS The primary composite endpoint was survival on original therapy with improvement in 6-min walk distance \u3e= 75 m. RESULTS Patients receiving LVAD versus OMM had lower baseline health-related quality of life, reduced Seattle Heart Failure Model 1-year survival (78% vs. 84%; p = 0.012), and were predominantly INTERMACS (Interagency Registry for Mechanically Assisted Circulatory Support) profile 4 (65% vs. 34%; p \u3c 0.001) versus profiles 5 to 7. More LVAD patients met the primary endpoint at 2 years: 30% LVAD versus 12% OMM (odds ratio: 3.2 [95% confidence interval: 1.3 to 7.7]; p = 0.012). Survival as treated on original therapy at 2 years was greater for LVAD versus OMM (70 +/- 5% vs. 41 +/- 5%; p \u3c 0.001), but there was no difference in intent-to-treat survival (70 +/- 5% vs. 63 +/- 5%; p = 0.307). In the OMM arm, 23 of 103 (22%) received delayed LVADs (18 within 12 months; 5 from 12 to 24 months). LVAD adverse events declined after year 1 for bleeding (primarily gastrointestinal) and arrhythmias. CONCLUSIONS Survival on original therapy with improvement in 6-min walk distance was superior with LVAD compared with OMM at 2 years. Reduction in key adverse events beyond 1 year was observed in the LVAD group. The ROADMAP trial provides risk-benefit information to guide patient- and physician-shared decision making for elective LVAD therapy as a treatment for heart failure. Supersymmetric One-family Model without Higgsinos
The Higgs potential and the mass spectrum of the N=1 supersymmetric extension
of a recently proposed one-family model based on the local gauge group , which is a subgroup of the electroweak-strong
unification group , is analyzed. In this model the slepton multiplets play
the role of the Higgs scalars and no Higgsinos are needed, with the consequence
that the sneutrino, the selectron and six other sleptons play the role of the
Goldstone bosons. We show how the problem is successfully addressed in
the context of this model which also predicts the existence of a light CP-odd

A Close Binary Star Resolved from Occultation by 87 Sylvia
The star BD+29 1748 was resolved to be a close binary from its occultation by
the asteroid 87 Sylvia on 2006 December 18 UT. Four telescopes were used to
observe this event at two sites separated by some 80 km apart. Two flux drops
were observed at one site, whereas only one flux drop was detected at the
other. From the long-term variation of Sylvia, we inferred the probable shape
of the shadow during the occultation, and this in turn constrains the binary
parameters: the two components of BD+29 1748 have a projected separation of
0.097" to 0.110" on the sky with a position angle 104 deg to 107 deg. The
asteroid was clearly resolved with a size scale ranging from 130 to 290 km, as
projected onto the occultation direction. No occultation was detected for
