    Gestión eficiente de las economías locales a través de estrategias administrativas/Efficient management of local economies through administrative strategies

    La gestión de la economía local plantea retos al integrarse al sector productivo como uno de sus ejes de crecimiento, este estudio plantea un análisis de la dinámica de estrategias administrativas aplicadas en las microempresas de la ciudad de Macas y su incidencia en la eficiencia para promover el desarrollo del espacio, convirtiéndose éstas en las dos variables de estudio: la gestión de las economías locales y las estrategias administrativas, la metodología de trabajo a utilizar comienza definiendo una investigación de tipo cuantitativa y cualitativa, no experimental, denostándose su independencia a través del método Chi cuadrado determinándose que menos del 50% de negocios aplica algún tipo de estrategia administrativa con una incidencia directa en la gestión de la economía local que trabaja de manera aislada del sector productivo creándose una herramienta a través de la cual se pueda crear una sinergia para lograr el objetivo común que permita eficiencia en el mercado y la gestión pública. Efficient management of local economies through administrative strategies is a stady of the management of the local economy poses challenges when integrating into the productive sector as one of its growth axes, this study proposes an analysis of the dynamics of administrative strategies applied in the micro enterprises of the city of Macas and its impact on efficiency to promote the development of space, these becoming the two variables of study: the management of local economies and administrative strategies, the work methodology to be used begins defining a quantitative and qualitative research, not experimental, denoting its independence through the method Chi square determining that less than 50% of businesses apply some kind of administrative strategy with a direct impact on the management of the local economy that works in isolation from the productive sector, creating a tool through which synergy can be created to achieve the common goal that allows efi science in the market and public management.     The Rise of Accounting Administration and Its Impact on the Profitability of Microeconomic Management

    Some taxes may limit microeconomic growth. A greater growth of SMEs that use RISE as part of their administration, especially grocery stores, has been identified in the commercial sector in the city of Macas, Morona canton, Morona Santiago province, Ecuador. This has led to a lack of knowledge about their profitability because the nature of the tax can lead to reduced use of accounting tools. Therefore, the objective of this research was to analyze the accounting administration of RISE and its impact on the profitability of these businesses, and to propose the design of a tool that could contribute to the development of efficient management of the local microeconomic businesses. A deductive quantitative approach was used and data were collected through a survey and interviews. The Chi square test was used to analyze the results. According to the findings, the limitations faced by businesses that use this tax included the generation of monthly income that does not cover the monthly basic basket. Based on the results, we proposed a strategy for the efficient management of the microeconomy that is made up of four tools: conscious strategic planning, administration without tax barriers, efficient accounting tools, and the sustainable development of the company. Resumen Algunos impuestos pueden limitar el crecimiento microeconómico, en la ciudad de Macas, cantón Morona, provincia de Morona Santiago, Ecuador se ha identificado un mayor crecimiento de PYMEs del sector comercial, de manera especial tiendas de abastos quienes utilizan el RISE como parte de su administración, lo que ha provocado un deficiente conocimiento real de su rentabilidad debido a la naturaleza misma del impuesto que lleva a un uso deficiente y casi nulo de los las herramientas contables, el trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar la administración contable del RISE y su incidencia en la rentabilidad de estos negocios que permitan el diseño de una herramienta que aporte al desarrollo de la gestión eficiente de la microeconomía local, se analizan datos obtenidos a partir de un estudio de tipo deductivo de enfoque cuantitativo, metodología de tipo analítico, correlacional, de campo que aplica instrumentos la recolección de información como la encuesta y entrevista, determina la dependencia de las variables identificadas a través del Chi cuadrado, e identifica como parte de los resultados las limitaciones a las que los negocios que utilizan este impuesto tienen como es la generación de ingresos mensuales que no llegan a cubrir la canasta básica mensual; plantea como parte de la solución al problema la Estrategia para la gestión eficiente de la Microeconomía que se compone cuatro herramientas: la planificación estratégica consciente, administración sin barreras tributarias, herramientas contables eficientes, el desarrollo sustentable de la empresa.     The increasing interest in the luminescent boron materials is due to their potential application in diverse areas such as solar cells, optoelectronic devices, and biological imaging materials. Continuous search for the compounds with better properties, luminescent organoboron materials have been gaining more importance, especially in the development of new technologies and novel techniques for bioimaging, which is a powerful tool to analyze the cellular organelles with important value into the cell biology and medical research. Synthesis, properties, and applications of luminescent boron compounds and their application in bioimaging are reviewed.

    Modelling the Interaction Levels in HCI Using an Intelligent Hybrid System with Interactive Agents: A Case Study of an Interactive Museum Exhibition Module in Mexico

    Technology has become a necessity in our everyday lives and essential for completing activities we typically take for granted; technologies can assist us by completing set tasks or achieving desired goals with optimal affect and in the most efficient way, thereby improving our interactive experiences. This paper presents research that explores the representation of user interaction levels using an intelligent hybrid system approach with agents. We evaluate interaction levels of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) with the aim of enhancing user experiences. We consider the description of interaction levels using an intelligent hybrid system to provide a decision-making system to an agent that evaluates interaction levels when using interactive modules of a museum exhibition. The agents represent a high-level abstraction of the system, where communication takes place between the user, the exhibition and the environment. In this paper, we provide a means to measure the interaction levels and natural behaviour of users, based on museum user-exhibition interaction. We consider that, by analysing user interaction in a museum, we can help to design better ways to interact with exhibition modules according to the properties and behaviour of the users. An interaction-evaluator agent is proposed to achieve the most suitable representation of the interaction levels with the aim of improving user interactions to offer the most appropriate directions, services, content and information, thereby improving the quality of interaction experienced between the user-agent and exhibition-agent

    The proximate composition, amino acids and fatty acids composition in the muscle of wild, inshore and offshore cage-cultured large yellow croaker, Pseudosciaena crocea (Richardson, 1846), were determined to identify nutritional differences. Wild fish groups showed highest content of moisture and crude protein, but the lowest lipid content. Offshore cage-cultured fish showed significantly higher content of moisture and crude protein content, but lower crude lipid content than inshore cage-cultured fish. The content of aspartic acid, glutamic acid, and alanine was higher in wild large yellow croaker than inshore cage-cultured groups, but similar to offshore cage-cultured fish. Significant lower contents of total amino acids, essential amino acids, non-essential amino acids and flavor-enhancing amino acids content were recorded in two cultured fish groups than those in wild group. While no major differences in fatty acids composition were found between wild and cage-cultured groups except for linoleic acid. The fish from offshore cages has much better nutrient profile than inshore cage cultured fish, but was still inferior compared to wild fish

    La brea generada a partir de alquitrán de hulla constituye un precursor de bajo coste, de materiales avanzados de carbono de excelentes prestaciones mecánicas debido a su alto rendimiento en carbono con estructura grafítica derivado de su alto grado de aromaticidad. En este artículo se revisan las contribuciones que han dado impulso al desarrollo tecnológico de los materiales avanzados de carbono obtenidos a partir de alquitrán de hulla. Se analiza el efecto de las condiciones experimentales, de cada una de las etapas de síntesis, sobre los parámetros característicos de la materia en las diferentes fases de procesamiento que incluyen la coquización del carbón, la destilación del alquitrán, la pirólisis de la brea y la carbonización de la mesofase.Abstract: Pitch generated from the coal tar is a low cost precursor of advanced carbon materials with excellent mechanical properties due to its high carbon yield with graphitic structure derived from its high degree of aromaticity.     Evolution of the infrared Tully-Fisher relation up to z=1.4

    The Tully-Fisher relation (TFR) represents a connection between fundamental galaxy parameters, such as its total mass and the mass locked in stars. Therefore, the study of the evolution of this relation in the optical and infrared bands can provide valuable information about the evolution of the individual galaxies through the changes found in each band. This work aims to study the TFR at high redshift in the B, V, R, I, and K-bands by comparison with the local relations derived from a large sample of galaxies in the redshift range 0.1<z<0.3, processed in the same way, and with the same instrumental constraints that the high-redshift sample. Using the large photometric information available in the AEGIS database, we have studied the best procedure to obtain reliable k-corrections. Instrumental magnitudes are then k and extinction corrected and the absolute magnitudes derived, using the concordance cosmological model. The rotational velocities have been obtained from the widths of optical lines using DEEP2 spectra. Finally, morphology has been determined via visual classification of the HST images. We detect evolution in the B, V and R-band TFRs in the sense that galaxies were brighter in the past for the same rotation velocity. The change in luminosity is more noticeable in the bluer bands. This colour evolution, unnoticed in our previous work (Fern\'andez Lorenzo et al. 2009) has been detected thanks to the more reliable k-corrections carried out in this paper, which included photometry from B to IRAC bands. The change in the (V-K) and (R-I) colours (for a fixed velocity) could be interpreted as an ageing of the stellar populations as consequence of the star formation decrease since z=1.25.     Blood Lead Secular Trend in a Cohort of Children in Mexico City (1987–2002)

    We determined the secular trend in blood lead levels in a cohort of 321 children born in Mexico City between 1987 and 1992. Blood lead level was measured every 6 months during a 10-year period. We modeled the effect of yearly air lead concentration nested within the calendar year in which the child was born, family use of lead-glazed pottery, socioeconomic status, year in which the child was born, age of the child at the time of blood lead measurement, place of residence, and an indicator variable for subjects with complete or incomplete blood lead values. The yearly mean of air lead of the Valley of Mexico decreased from its highest level of 2.80 μg/m(3) in 1987 to 0.07 μg/m(3) in 2002. The contribution of air lead to blood lead according to year of birth was strongest for subjects born in 1987 and fell to nearly zero for children born in 1992. The geometric mean of the entire cohort rose from 8.4 μg/dL in the first year of life to 10.1 μg/dL in the second and decreased thereafter until it reached 6.4 μg/dL at 10 years of age. Children of families who used lead-glazed ceramics had blood lead levels 18.5% higher than did children of nonusing families. Children who belonged to the lowest socioeconomic levels had blood lead levels 32.2% higher than did those of highest socioeconomic levels. Children who lived in the northeast part of the city had blood lead levels 10.9% higher compared with those who lived in the southwest
