With a problem it is abnormal high air pollution in a coastal zone (in comparison with continental industrial cities), increases in patients pulmonary and allergic diseases have already faced New York, Valetteis (an island Malta), a number of cities, including resort, the Mediterranean coast of Spain. One of the basic sources of toxic substances in air of seaside cities is sea the aerosol. For the purpose of air pollution forecasting in FGU ГОИН the system of monitoring of quality of air is created, a measuring basis of system is the measuring instrument of dispersion developed by us laser (ИДЛ-1).

Abnormal changes in the density of thermal neutron flux in biocenoses near the earth surface

    No full text
We revealed an increase in the density of thermal neutron flux in forest biocenoses, which was not associated with astrogeophysical events. The maximum spike of this parameter in the biocenosis reached 10,000 n/ (sec×m2). Diurnal pattern of the density of thermal neutron flux depended only on the type of biocenosis. The effects of biomodulation of corpuscular radiation for balneology are discussed. © Springer Science+Business Media, Inc. 2007

    Nanoparticles in artesian waters

We have proposed the classification of nanoparticles in natural waters by the mechanism of the formation and chemical composition. We have obtained data according to the dimensional spectrum and the content of microelements aluminosilicate particles of artesian waters. © 2011 Allerton Press, Inc

Nanoparticles in natural mineral waters. Measurement procedure and results

    No full text
We have described and tested a procedure for measuring nanoparticle sizes in natural mineral waters, using an analyzer based on dynamic light scattering. We present the results of measurement of the particle size distribution in samples of several waters. We show that the nanoparticle size distribution is individual for each type of natural mineral water, and can be used as an identification parameter for its certification. © 2010 Springer Science+Business Media, Inc

Physicochemical properties and biological activity of the water depleted of heavy isotopes

Data on physicochemical properties of the light water (deuterium concentration is reduced to the ratio D/H = 4 ppm and that of the isotope of oxygen 18-to the ratio 18O/16O = 750 ppm) have been obtained. They include the melting and boiling points, kinematic viscosity, density, the spin-spin proton relaxation time, self-diffusion coefficients, and the small-angle laser light scattering. It was found out that the biological activity of the light water was determined by the mechanisms different from the ligand-induced toxic effects. An explanation was proposed for the detected significant changes of the light water as compared with the high-resistivity water having geochemically ordinary isotope composition. This explanation was based on the mechanism of formation of supramolecular density inhomogeneities in water representing the deuterium-stabilized heterophase clusters. © 2011 Allerton Press, Inc
