    One hundred Swiss railroad posters are analyzed. They run from the end of 19th century to the beginning of the mass tourism, before the generalized use of the photography. They are draftsmen’s work. They represented symbolic landscapes of low mountain range: meadows, forests, waterfalls, blue sky and snowy crests. They aimed at a young public of foreigners. They are incited to take the train to go in the new Swiss fashionable stations, at first in summer then in winter, to breeze some fresh air and to practice sports
