This paper examines the activity of the spokesperson by means of an analogy with the art of ventriloquism. It is composed of three parts: in the first one we introduce some definitions of «spokesperson» in order to explain in what consists his activity. The second part is devoted to the analysis of the linguistic aspects of the spokespersonâs activity with particular reference to some language operations: a) self-effacement; b) attribution of agentivity. Finally, in the last part we discuss some questions that remain open in the debate on spokespersonâs activity

Due usi italiani di "enunciazione"
This article examines two uses of the word enunciation in some recent
contributions of the italian semiotics: a) âenunciationâ as activation of open semantic
potentials (VIOLI 2003) ; b) âenunciationâ as modulation of local encyclopedic sections
(PAOLUCCI 2010). Thanks to the theoretical resources of two fundamental research
programs as Benvenisteâs linguistics (LEB) and Culioliâs theory of predicative and
enunciative operations (TOPE), we try to demonstrate that these uses are variants of the
same general idea, i.e. âactualizationâ of encyclopedic virtualities. In the last section of the
paper, we formulate some questions that remain open in the context of this investigation
Storia dellâeucalitticoltura in Sicilia.
Fontaneâ a Roma.
The eucalyptus trees have a long history in Italy and they
were already present in Campania in the first years of 1800 in the botanical garden of Caserta (Hortus
Camaldulensis). The Hortus Camaldulensis to give the name Eucalyptus camaldulensis one of the
most common species in Italy and in the World. The first forest plantations in Italy go back to 1869
by the monks of the âAbbazia delle Tre Fontaneâ in Rome. The initial reasons for the spread of the
eucalyptus trees should be related to the belief that they could make the air healthier and combat the
spread of malaria. Really, the eucalyptus, due to the ability to drain the swampy areas quickly, reducing
and canceling the possibilities to life of mosquito vector of malaria. At the beginning of â900
eucalyptus arrive in Sicily where it is used in the speeches of âreclamationâ, in the dune fixation and
along the railway lines. In post-war the euclapyptus spread in Italy and in Sicily thanks to the activity
of the Centro di Sperimentazione Agricola e Forestale (Roma) founded in 1953 that focuses its
research activities mainly on eucaliptus and poplar. The expansion of eucalyptus in Sicily is related
to the intended use of the lumber produced at the mill Fiumefereddo (CT), which, in fact, will never
open and the interventions of the Cassa del Mezzogiorno. Overall in Sicily at the end of the last century
are implanted around 35,000 hectares of eucalyptus wood. Eucalyptus is linked to a massive
research and all the most important Italian forest were measured with them. Today many eucalyptus
woodfind a âmeaningâ in the intended use as biomass while in many areas the re-naturalization is
the only choice. In the meantime, that forest management starts massively thinks these processes to
integrate nature, thanks to the spread of insects from Australia, these exotic plants in the Mediterranean
