    Foi avaliada a produção de matéria seca de pastagem de capim coastcross, cultivado em latossolo vermelho Distrófico, em São Carlos- SP, sob clima de amônio, nas doses de 0,25,50,100 e 200 kg/ha, por corte, em cinco períodos consecutivos. As doses que permitem 80% da produção máxima de forragem, foram 93 e 66 kg/ha de N; essas doses foram significativas entre si e proporcionaram produções de matéria seca de 2.355 e 2.410 kg/ha por corte, respectivamente, para uréia e nitrato de amônio

    Foram medidas perdas de amonia por volatilização, nos cinco primeiros dias após aplicação superficial de uréia e nitrato de amônio em pastagem de capim-costcross, cultivado em Latossolo vermelho ditrófico típico, em São Carlos-SP, Brasil, sob condições de clima tropical de altitude. A amonia volatilizado foi coletada em armadilha com ácido fosfórico e glicerina acima da superficie do solo. As perdas médias de uréia, após cinco cortes sucessivos da forragem, foram 14, 21, 27 e 32% do N aplicado nas doses de 25, 50, 100 e 200 kg/ha por corte, respectivament

    Repeated measurements (RM) are common in forage experiments. The data used in this study were accumulated ammonia losses by volatilization (N)and dry matter production (DM) of cynodon dactylon cv. Coastcross pasture from an experiment in blocs with five levels of urea: 0,25, 50, 100 and 200 kg of N ha , applied in five periods (Cuttings). For N, RM were the averages of cuttings and nine days of observation. The F test for the hypothesis of no affect for period and level x period interaction (DM) and for days interaction was not affected by univariate and multivariate tests. However, greenhouse-geisser epsilon estimate was biased downwards. Polynomial contrast in univariate ANOVA and logistic function agreed explaining acumulated N. For DM, uneaqual population variances on different was rejected and the assumption that pairs of observations on the same subject are equally correladet was rejected.200

    Slicing and Allocation of Transformable Resources for the Deployment of Multiple Virtualized Infrastructure Managers (VIMs)

    In the context of 5G networks, the concept of network slicing allows network providers to flexibly share infrastructures with mobile service providers and verticals. While this concept has been widely investigated considering mostly the network issues, in this work we focus on a slice as a service model that takes into account the data center (DC) perspective. In particular, we propose an architecture where DC slices are created over transformable (compute and storage) resources, which can be virtualized or de-virtualized on-demand. Then, on top of each slice, an on-demand VIM is instantiated to control the allocated resources. As a realization of this architecture, we introduce the DC Slice Controller, a system able to deploy and delivery full operational VIMs based on generic templates. We evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed system deploying three VIMs (VLSP, Kubernetes, and OpenStack) over commodity hardware. Experimental results show that the DC Slice Controller can timely provide a slice even when dealing with sophisticated VIMs such as OpenStack. As an example, we were able to delivery a fully functional OpenStack in four nodes in less than 10 minutes
