    The morphology and IR absorption spectra of dried drops of the blood plasma from patients with brain tumors of different grades have been studied. The structural peculiarities of these drops have been revealed. The possibilities to use the structural features of dried drops and of their IR absorption spectra as a source of additional information facilitating correct diagnosis have been assessed. The developed methods enable to control the appointed treatment and to elucidate a dynamics of the developing pathology.Изучена морфология и спектры ИК поглощения высохших капель плазмы крови больных с опухолью головного мозга различной степени. Выявлены структурные особенности высохших капель. Оценены возможности использования структурообразования высохшей капли и спектров ИК поглощения в качестве дополнительной информации при постановке и уточнении диагноза. Разработанные методики позволяют контролировать назначенное лечение и уточнять динамику развития патологии

    Based on studies of a wide spectrum of physicochemical parameters of the blood in 160 patients with vesical cancer, the authors created complexes of informative tests and formulated the decision rules fit for evaluating the degree of tumor invasion before therapy. The diagnostic efficiency of this approach amounts to 87.5—89%.

    Current laboratory techniques were used for evaluation of tumor markers, growth factors, angiogenesis, intercellular adhesion in biological fluids of 349 patients with nonmusculo-invasive urinary bladder cancer (264 patients had a single tumor and 285 presented with multiple tumor foci). An analysis was made of the correlation between four indices most closely related with the number of tumor foci in the bladder, and patient survival. The log-rank test found a correlation between the levels of UBC, sICAM, TPS, p185 in biological fluids, and survival (Plog-rank<0,05). The values of UBC in urine and sICAM in blood serum affect overall, cancer-specific, recurrence-free survivals of patients with either a single tumor focus or multiple tumor foci in the bladder. TPS blood levels affect the same survivals but only in patients with a single tumor focus. As regards p185, the level of this protein has a significant impact on all the calculated survivals of patients with nonmusculo-invasive bladder cancer. Multivariate analysis including all the four indices, with Cox proportional hazards regression model, found that a high blood level of p185 is an unfavourable prognostic factor for recurrence-free survival: with p185 concentration <4,43 ng/ml, 5-year recurrence-free survival of patients with a single tumor focus in the bladder was 95,9 % and with p185≥4,43 ng/ml it was 64,1 %; in patients with multiple tumor foci it was 83,6 % with p185<5,7 ng/ml and 30,0 % with p185≥5,7 ng/ml

    The morphology of dried blood plasma from patients with oncopathology has been studied. The structural features characteristic for the dried drops of blood plasma from the patients with diagnosed carcinoma of the prostate have been revealed. Semiquantitative estimates of the spatial distribution of calcium over the surface of the dried drops of biological fluids have been obtained using laser atomic-emission spectrometry. Owing to the use of this method, one can have quantitative estimates of changes in the protein centers. The possibility for making more accurate diagnoses by means of attribution of the tumor to the types Т2 and Т3 or Т4 is demonstrated. The obtained experimental results may form the basis for the development of early cancer diagnostication techniques

Получены полуколичественные результаты пространственного распределения кальция по поверхности высохшей капли биологических жидкостей и в слоях с использованием метода лазерной атомно-эмиссионной спектрометрии. Метод лазерной атомно-эмиссионной спектрометрии дает возможность количественно оценить изменения в белковых центрах. Показана возможность уточнения диагноза по отнесению опухоли к типу Т2 или к Т3 или Т4. Полученные экспериментальные данные могут быть основой для разработки методологии ранней диагностики
