A Survey on Multisensor Fusion and Consensus Filtering for Sensor Networks
Multisensor fusion and consensus filtering are two fascinating subjects in the research of sensor networks. In this survey, we will cover both classic results and recent advances developed in these two topics. First, we recall some important results in the development ofmultisensor fusion technology. Particularly, we pay great attention to the fusion with unknown correlations, which ubiquitously exist in most of distributed filtering problems. Next, we give a systematic review on several widely used consensus filtering approaches. Furthermore, some latest progress on multisensor fusion and consensus filtering is also presented. Finally,
conclusions are drawn and several potential future research directions are outlined.the Royal Society of the UK, the National Natural Science Foundation of China under Grants 61329301, 61374039, 61304010, 11301118, and 61573246, the Hujiang Foundation of China under Grants C14002

The complexity of recognizing linear systems with certain integrality properties
Let A be a 0 - 1 matrix with precisely two 1's in each column and let 1 be the all-one vector. We show that the problems of deciding whether the linear system Ax ≥ 1,x ≥ 0 (1) defines an integral polyhedron, (2) is totally dual integral (TDI), and (3) box-totally dual integral (box-TDI) are all co-NP-complete, thereby confirming the conjecture on NP-hardness of recognizing TDI systems made by Edmonds and Giles in 1984. © 2007 Springer-Verlag.preprin
High-Pressure Induced Structural Phase Transition in CaCrO4: Evidence from Raman Scattering Studies
Raman spectroscopic studies have been carried out on CaCrO4 under pressure up
to 26GPa at ambient temperature. The Raman spectra showed CaCrO4 experienced a
continuous structural phase transition started at near 6GPa, and finished at
about 10GPa. It is found that the high-pressure phase could be quenched to
ambient conditions. Pressure dependence of the Raman peaks suggested there
existed four pressure regions related to different structural characters. We
discussed these characters and inferred that the nonreversible structural
transition in CaCrO4, most likely was from a zircon-type (I41/amd) ambient
phase to a scheelite-type high pressure structure (I41/a).Comment: submitte
Evaluating the semantic web: a task-based approach
The increased availability of online knowledge has led to the design of several algorithms that solve a variety of tasks by harvesting the Semantic Web, i.e. by dynamically selecting and exploring a multitude of online ontologies. Our hypothesis is that the performance of such novel algorithms implicity provides an insight into the quality of the used ontologies and thus opens the way to a task-based evaluation of the Semantic Web. We have investigated this hypothesis by studying the lessons learnt about online ontologies when used to solve three tasks: ontology matching, folksonomy enrichment, and word sense disambiguation. Our analysis leads to a suit of conclusions about the status of the Semantic Web, which highlight a number of strengths and weaknesses of the semantic information available online and complement the findings of other analysis of the Semantic Web landscape
Spin photocurrent, its spectra dependence, and current-induced spin polarization in an InGaAs/InAlAs two-dimensional electron gas
Converse effect of spin photocurrent and current induced spin polarization
are experimentally demonstrated in the same two-dimensional electron gas system
with Rashba spin splitting. Their consistency with the strength of the Rashba
coupling as measured from beating of the Shubnikov-de Haas oscillations reveals
a unified picture for the spin photocurrent, current-induced spin polarization
and spin orbit coupling. In addition, the observed spectral inversion of the
spin photocurrent indicates the system with dominating structure inversion
asymmetry.Comment: 13 pages, 4 figure
An efficient and principled method for detecting communities in networks
A fundamental problem in the analysis of network data is the detection of
network communities, groups of densely interconnected nodes, which may be
overlapping or disjoint. Here we describe a method for finding overlapping
communities based on a principled statistical approach using generative network
models. We show how the method can be implemented using a fast, closed-form
expectation-maximization algorithm that allows us to analyze networks of
millions of nodes in reasonable running times. We test the method both on
real-world networks and on synthetic benchmarks and find that it gives results
competitive with previous methods. We also show that the same approach can be
used to extract nonoverlapping community divisions via a relaxation method, and
demonstrate that the algorithm is competitively fast and accurate for the
nonoverlapping problem.Comment: 14 pages, 5 figures, 1 tabl
Three realizations of quantum affine algebra
In this article we establish explicit isomorphisms between three realizations
of quantum twisted affine algebra : the Drinfeld ("current")
realization, the Chevalley realization and the so-called realization,
investigated by Faddeev, Reshetikhin and Takhtajan.Comment: 15 page
