The impairment of adaptive mechanisms of functional systems of the body plays an important role in the occurrence of gastrointestinal diseases. This impairment is caused by unfavorable ecological and radiation conditions, external stress factors, food containing carcinogens, macro - and microelements deficiency. Technogenic environmental pollution contributes to decrease in the level of iodine in the body and more severe course of thyroid pathology. Diseases of the digestive and endocrine systems and their combination will occupy one of the leading places among the existing pathologies according to the forecasts of WHO experts in the XXI century. Adaptation of the body to various environmental influences is the most important factor in the quality of life. The relevance of the study was determined by the high incidence of psychological disadaptation, borderline personality disorders and, as a consequence, decrease in the quality of life in patients with gastrointestinal pathology and hypothyroidism. The article presents the results of comparative analysis of the quality of life indications of patients with gastric ulcer and / or gastroesophageal reflux disease in combination with hypothyroidism. The Russian-language analogue of the international questionnaire SF36 was used to analyze the indicatoions of patients\u27 quality of life. The results of the study will allow to formulate the diagnosis exactly and organize adequate, comprehensive multidisciplinary treatment

Comparative results of treatment of women with genital herpes against bacterial infection of the bottom departments of sexual ways from using three forms antivirus-immunomodulate preparation panavir are analysed: in the form of the rivers-talnyh suppositories, protective intravaginal gel of this preparation and there combination. It is established that clinical improvement of symptoms of disease were like at use of all forms of panavir. At the same time duration of relapse for sure decreased at patients with use rectal suppositories in 1,6 times, intravaginal gel - in 1,4 times, and at their combination - in 2,2 times. Simultaneously with it at appointment of all forms of preparation quality of life and initially suppressed indicators of immunity that proves inclusion panavir in practice of treatment of women with the mixed bakterial-virus infection was restored.

Time Budget in Two Desert Gerbils: is the Diet Important?

We studied time budgets and dietary intake in two desert gerbillids, Psammomys obesus, a diurnal herbivore, and Meriones crassus, a nocturnal granivore feeding three different types of diet (millet seeds together with leaves of Atriplex halimus for M. crassus, fresh leaves of A. halimus or fresh stems of Anabasis syriaca for P. obesus). M. crassus spent the lowest proportion of its time budget for feeding compared to P. obesus. Number of feeding sessions in M. crassus was approximately the same but each separate feeding session was almost three times shorter than those in P. obesus. No difference in temporal pattern of feeding was found between P. obesus fed different plants, in spite of sharp differences in chemical composition of food. P. obesus fed A. halimus was active significantly less time than M. crassus, whereas P. obesus fed A. syriaca stayed active the same time as M. crassus. Dry matter intake of P. obesus fed A. halimus was much higher than that of M. crassus and dry matter intake of P. obesus fed A. syriaca was lower than even that in M. crassus

Ablation and transmission of thin solid targets irradiated by intense extreme ultraviolet laser radiation

The interaction of an extreme ultraviolet (EUV) laser beam with a parylene foil was studied by experiments and simulation. A single EUV laser pulse of nanosecond duration focused to an intensity of 3 × 1010 W cm−2 perforated micrometer thick targets. The same laser pulse was simultaneously used to diagnose the interaction by a transmission measurement. A combination of 2-dimensional radiation-hydrodynamic and diffraction calculations was used to model the ablation, leading to good agreement with experiment. This theoretical approach allows predictive modelling of the interaction with matter of intense EUV beams over a broad range of parameters

Influence of typical environments on quantum processes

We present the results of studying the influence of different environmental states on the coherence of quantum processes. We choose to discuss a simple model which describe two electronic reservoirs connected through tunneling via a resonant state. The model could, e.g., serve as an idealization of inelastic resonant tunneling through a double barrier structure. We develop Schwinger's closed time path formulation of non-equilibrium quantum statistical mechanics, and show that the influence of the environment on a coherent quantum process can be described by the value of a generating functional at a specific force value, thereby allowing for a unified discussion of destruction of phase coherence by various environmental states: thermal state, classical noise, time dependent classical field, and a coherent state. The model allows an extensive discussion of the influence of dissipation on the coherent quantum process, and expressions for the transmission coefficient are obtained in the possible limits.Comment: 46 pages, 11 post script figures. The damaging effect of adverse environmental factors leads to adaptive mechanisms' disturbance of functional body systems. It can contribute to the development of various diseases. The relevance of the study was determined by the high prevalence of mental disorders and decrease in the quality of life (QL) among patients with the combined gastrointestinal tract and hypothyroidism pathology.
