It turned out that the change graphs of the absolute value of dimensionless amplitude of pressure fluctuations against air velocity can be used to evaluate values of the minimum fluidization velocity of polydisperse bed biomass pellets. An experimental verification is reported on the early predicting index of agglomeration in bubbling fluidized bed of biomass pellets and fine coal particles

Objective to define corporate growth paradigms and to identify their methodological foundations that serve as the basis for combining the theories concepts and models of corporate growth into paradigms. Methods the research methods of development of scientific knowledge developed under the direction postneopositivist methodology of science methodology of paradigms by Th. Kuhn scientific research programs by I. Lakatos evolution of knowledge by S. Toulmin ldquomethodological anarchismrdquo by P. Feyerabend methods of distinguishing between simple and complex mechanical and organic systems principles of selforganization and synergetics. Results the efficiency of using the general scientific methodology of paradigms for the analysis of trends while studying the corporate growth causes and patterns is proved. Three key paradigms of corporate growth are defined causal paradigm paradigm of growth results and process paradigm. It is shown that the basis for classifying a particular theory of growth to a particular paradigm are the basic general theoretical and methodological principles specific to each of the paradigms. The tendencies in the growth paradigms development are determined at present the new integrative paradigm of growth is formed which includes theories and theoretical models exploring the processes of companiesrsquo integration. Scientific novelty for the first time in the practice of corporate growth research the methodology was applied for the analysis of the scientific knowledge development as competition of paradigms the structure of the growth paradigms was revealed and the tendency of the formation of a new paradigm of corporate growth and integration was formulated. Practical significance the main provisions and conclusions can be used to analyze the trends of change and growth of specific organizations and to predict the directions of their development as well as in the practice of management consulting

The Northern Sea Route in the conditions of the global economic environment of the transport market

This article discusses the issue of substantiating the range of changes in the elastic-damping and mass-inertial characteristics of agricultural mobile power equipment (MES) with mounted technological equipment. Substantiation of the range of changes in the elastic-damping and inertial characteristics of an oscillatory system is an important stage in the design process of various mechanical systems and equipment. In this article, the authors present experimental data necessary for further studies of the springing system and present a study aimed at ensuring optimal operating conditions of the system, minimizing the level of vibrations and vibrations, predicting the behavior of the system in various operating conditions and modes. The article describes the research methods used, presents the results and draws conclusions. The research plays an important role in the design of agricultural MEAS aggregated with various technological equipment

Studying the banking industrys stability trought market concentration indices

The optimal market structure is one of the fundamental issues of economic theory. At that, companies’ efficiency in the market is associated with resource availability as a whole and finance resources, in particular. The structure of the banking market in terms of commercial loans determines a number of parameters of the economic system, such as its stability, growth potential, entrepreneurial activity, the state of commodity markets, the competitiveness of companies, etc. A comparative analysis of countries in terms of the ratio of commercial loans to GDP allows us to identify promising markets and strategic avenues for the development of the global banking industry and investment policy. However, a lack of regular and timely statistical reviews often impedes the identification. With the view to performing a comparative analysis for the EA/ЕU macroregion, the authors attempt to establish the types of the banking market in Russia based on a fuzzy rank approach using the probability theory. Using the data for 2009–2018, the authors assess bank concentration in Russia by a number of indicators. During the period under review, the volume of commercial banking lending in Russia experienced a steady increase. At the same time, there is a clear downward trend in the number of banks; several local “breakdowns” happen once every two years, i.e. the compression rate is reducing. Within the framework of the accepted gradation, the values of concentration indices taken separately do not allow arriving at a firm conclusion, since they indicate contradictory statuses of the sectoral market type. The integrated approach proposed in the paper helped find that, despite a relatively large number of participants in the Russian banking market, it should be primarily identified with a monopoly. At that, the values of the Herfindahl-Hirschman Index (HHI) and standard concentration fall within the oligopoly boundaries. This indicates the fuzzy nature of the sectoral market. The empirical results obtained are of use when analyzing competition, developing antimonopoly regulation measures, adjusting the banking sector development strategy and investment policy
