: The combination of music and the internet music change the mindset of the music producers and the conventional recording label. Internet label (netlabel) gives new hope for the development of modern music and potentially as an agent of cultural change. The internet music is free and widely distributed. This paper analyzes the phenomenon of one Indonesian netlabel, YesNoWave, by using several new media theories. Sharing culture that embedded in this current communication technology brings Indonesian music to a new phase that enhances the possibility for many people to participate in the culture development process that exceed the local limits
