    The change and growth of society strive for the adjustment of Guidance and Counseling professionals toward the appropriate demands, expectations and needs of society. The improvement efforts of this profession have been done to pursue public trust. This close relationship with services efforts profession seemingly has its unique characteristics. Given help services constitute an essential professional obligatory for Guidance and Counseling professionals. In giving services, the profession ought to consider its counselee satisfaction as its customer. The customers encompass as internal customers (college students or teachers of Guidance and Counseling) and external customers (schools\u27 students, students\u27 parents and wide range of society). This dichotomy because of the customers would determine in enhancing profession toward the better directions. Customers\u27 satisfactory service concepts constitute a part of profession improvement besides of improvement in counseling profession standardization, ethic and its convinced direction. This concept is expected could complete counselors\u27 performance in giving services, moreover they will be able to be superiority mark compared with other professions. The concept of customers\u27 satisfaction needs to be started from educational institution. In implementing this management concept, educational institution needs to notice some points needed by internal and external customers dealt with giving Guidance and Counseling services. Institutions are expected to be able to know and understand customers\u27 needs.     One of the relevant issues to current condition is the diversity in society. This is the result of mobility and information stream which develops more and more rapidly. Foreign cultural values flow into thesociety, following the stream and give positive as well as negativeimpacts.This condition of diversity is often assumed as a threat for the unity of nation and state. Oftentimes, certain rules and regulations made as theresponds to the diversity turn out to be a facility for the majority culture to dominate. The slogan of “Bhinneka Tunggal Ika” (unity in diversity) as aninheritance of the New Order era constitutes the case which shows howmulti-cultures was incorrectly managed by disregarding multiculturalismitself. An assumption that diversity will endanger the wholeness of ournation becomes the reason to force the diversity be kept in an integrityand unity, which eventually leads to the existence of monoculturalism.Domination of the majority culture, the legacy from incorrect perceptionand management of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika in the past gives impact tovarious aspects of life in the present Indonesian society. The lack ofcomprehensive understanding for multiculturalism even causes moraldecadence of the young generation. Such merits as togetherness, appreciation and respect to others, and mutual cooperation arevanishing. The arrogance due to domination of majority culture causeslack of understanding in interactions with other cultures or other people.This condition turns to become a challenge for education milieu to givemore orientation to multicultural understanding. Schools, through theteaching-learning process, need to emphasize that diversity is a potentialwealth and worth understanding, and should not be considered anegative aspect.     Perception of Senior High School Teachers Towards School Organization Support

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bentuk-bentuk dukungan organisasi sekolah yang dirasakan (Perceived School Organization Support) oleh guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian survei. Subjek berjumlah 97 orang guru SMU yang terdiri atas 4 sekolah mewakili Kabupaten Bantul dan 1 sekolah mewakili Kodya Yogyakarta. Pemilihan subjek penelitian dilakukan dengan melalui teknik multistage cluster random. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket terbuka yang memungkinkan subjek penelitian menjawab secara bebas. Validitas angket diperoleh lewat professional judgment. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dengan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa: (1) empat dimensi dukungan sekolah yang merupakan bentuk-bentuk dukungan organisasi sekolah yang dirasakan guru antara lain Kenyamanan lingkungan fisik kerja (41%), pengembangan profesi (27%), perhatian pimpinan (18%), dan Kenyamanan lingkungan sosial kerja (14%); (2) respon emosi yang muncul dengan adanya dukungan sekolah antara lain senang, puas, nyaman bekerja, menambah semangat kerja, positive thinking terhadap sekolah, perasaan mampu mengembangkan diri, termotivasi, merasa sejahtera, dan merasa dihargai
