    Victims of Physical Violence Have a Higher Risk to Be Perpetrators: A Study in High School Students Population

    BACKGROUND: Violence experienced by a person can trigger mental disorders. It was reported that 1 in 4 children in the world had experienced severe and sustained physical violence. The form of violence varies from various bullying actions that seem mild, to deadly physical violence. AIM: This study aimed to see the association between the victim and perpetrator of violence in high school students. METHODS: A Hundred and Forty-Four high school students were chosen by stratified random sampling. They were assessed using Hurt, Insulted, threatened with harm, and Screamed (HITS) assessment tool. Univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analysis were used in this analysis, along with a cross-tabulation table. RESULTS: Out of the 144 subjects, 66 (45.8%) admitted that they experienced violence in different gradations. A total of 34 (47.2%) respondents revealed that the perpetrators of the most frequent acts of violence were either one or both of their parents. The odds ratio (OR) of the subjects who experienced violence to commit violence is 3.571 (Confidence Interval (CI) 95% = 1.792-7.120). CONCLUSION: More than 60% of high school students who experienced acts of violence turned out to experience more than one type of violence. The most frequent perpetrators of violence are the parents (47.2%), followed by friends and siblings. Those who experienced violent acts are 3.5 times more likely to become a perpetrator of violence

    GEJALA PSIKOTIK PADA PENYAKIT PARKINSON: SEBUAH LAPORAN KASUS DAN TINJAUAN PUSTAKA

    Pendahuluan: Penyakit Parkinson (PP) memiliki dimensi gejala sangat luas yang secara langsung dan tidak langsung mempengaruhi kualitas hidup penderita maupun keluarga. Gejala non motorik PP diantaranya adalah gangguan neuropsikiatri seperti depresi, psikosis, ansietas. Kami melaporkan sebuah kasus PP dengan gejala psikotik berupa halusinasi yang jarang dijumpai. Laporan Kasus: Pasien perempuan berusia 74 tahun terdiagnosis Parkinson sejak lebih dari 20 tahun, dibawa ke rumah sakit dengan bicara tidak nyambung, adanya halusinasi visual, dan emosi yang tidak stabil sejak 1 bulan. Keluarga pasien juga merasa sejak 6 bulan terakhir pasien menjadi sering lupa. Pasien dengan riwayat PP tidak rutin mengkonsumsi obat parkinson di bawah supervisi dokter. Keluhan halusinasi pernah dirasakan 2 tahun lalu namun membaik setelah perawatan. Diskusi: Gejala non motorik dapat dijumpai seiring perkembangan penyakit Parkinson dandapat diidentifikasi sebelum sindrom motor muncul. Adanya gejala psikosis berupa halusinasi dalam kasus yang dipaparkan terhadi setelah 18 tahun sejak pasien terdiagnosis, dimana berdasarkan hasil studi terdahulu dilaporkan 60% penderita PP berkembang adanya halusinasi atau delusi setelah 12 tahun perawatan dan pada usia lebih tua saat onset PP. Gangguan kognitif pada PP juga dicurigai dalam kasus walau belum sepenuhnya dapat ditegakan serta adanya gangguan tidur pada PP dengan prevalensi 40-90% dijumpai pada kasus yang kami laporkan. Kesimpulan: Manifestasi non motorik PP yang mencakup gejala neuropsikiatri sangat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup pasien maupun keluarga dan perawat pasien. Klinisi harus meningkatkan kewaspadaan terhadap gejala non motorik PP dan pemberian tatalaksana farmakologi dan non farmakologi harus dilakukan secara terintegratif bersama dengan bidang-bidang terkait sesuai dengan kondisi pasien.     Suicide is a major public health problem worldwide. Attempted suicide (AT) is a deliberate act of self-harm that has the intent to die, but does not result in death. Young adults are less likely to receive mental health care than younger and older individuals. This study aims to determine the description of anxiety and depression and provide an analysis of patients who attempted suicide who entered the Emergency Unit at Prof. Dr. IGNG Ngoerah Hospital Denpasar. The research was conducted at Prof. dr. IGNG Ngoerah Hospital Denpasar. The research method was descriptive analytic, cross-sectional using demographic questionnaires, Mini International Neuropsychiatry Interview (MINI), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI). Data were processed using SPSS software. The study found that the mean age of 30 years and female gender were the most common.     This research would like to reveal how much the cost of depressed people financing and lost (cost analysis), and how many benefits will be obtained when someone is free from the Depression. The cross-sectional study used a validated version of the Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview (MINI) Questionnaire and deep interview to calculate the costs incurred when a person suffers from depression. The collected data were analyzed statistically using SPSS version 22. When a person suffers from Depression, the average cost needed to overcome his depression is IDR. 9,934,000. The loss rate will be even greater with the amount of income lost when they are no longer able to work and lose the achievement, he or she lost 100 million rupiahs. Prevalence of Depression is around 10% of the population, it means funds of more than 4 trillion rupiahs are needed to finance mental health in Bali and 250 trillion to finance national Depression. The national loss rate moves to more than 1,500 trillion rupiahs if all the opportunities and opportunities lost are accounted for

    The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on every aspect of human life, from health issues to economic problems, where high unemployment rates and many businesses experience stagnation. When someone experiences financial anxiety, it will certainly affect their financial behavior. In this case, trading crypto assets is very attractive to investors because asset value increases can be achieved quickly, but asset value decreases can also occur just as quickly. The mental impact that occurs from this phenomenon needs to be known. Analytical observational research with a cross-sectional study design on 207 subjects who have crypto accounts and are trading crypto assets. The sample was obtained through voluntary sampling via social media and crypto communities throughout Indonesia. Out of 207 research subjects, there were 88.4% of crypto asset traders experienced FoMO, 90.33% experienced impulsivity, and there was a relationship between FoMO and impulsivity (p=0.001, cc=0.228), FoMO and stress (p=0.000, cc=0.289), FoMO and anxiety (p=0.040, cc=0.143), FoMO and depression (p=0.000, cc=0.218), impulsivity and stress (p=0.000, cc=0.303), impulsivity and anxiety (p=0.000, cc=0.352), and impulsivity and depression (p=0.000, cc=0.360). The reliability test of the FoMO questionnaire was (? cronbach=0.504), validity test (KMO=0.599, commonalities of each question item >0.50).
