Axial gravitational waves in FLRW cosmology and memory effects
We show initial data for gravitational axial waves, that are twice
differentiable but which are not . They generate wave pulses that
interact with matter in the radiation cosmological era. This forces the
radiation matter to rotate. This rotation is permanent - it persists after the
passage of the gravitational pulse. The observed inhomogeneities of the cosmic
microwave background radiation put a bound onto discontinuities of superhorizon
metric perturbations. We explicitly show that a class of smooth initial metrics
that are at least gives rise to gravitational wave pulses that do not
interact with the background during the radiation epoch.Comment: This version matches the published article (Phys. Rev. D 96, 063523
(2017)). A note is added on interaction of axial gravitational waves with
stars' interiors, with 3 new reference
Two mass conjectures on axially symmetric black hole--disk systems
We analyze stationary self-gravitating disks around spinning black holes that
satisfy the recently found general-relativistic Keplerian rotation law. There
is a numerical evidence that the angular velocity, circumferential radius and
angular momenta yield a bound onto the asymptotic mass of the system. This
bound is proven analytically in the special case of massless disks of dust in
the Kerr spacetime.Comment: 8 pages, 5 figure
On extensions of the Penrose inequality with angular momentum
We numerically investigate the validity of recent modifications of the
Penrose inequality that include angular momentum. Formulations expressed in
terms of asymptotic mass and asymptotic angular momentum are contradicted. We
analyzed numerical solutions describing polytropic stationary toroids around
spinning black holes.Comment: Revised and expanded: a new Section 3 on numerical integration;
misprints corrected; minor stylistic changes. Conclusions are unchange
Stationary massive disks around black holes: realistic equation of state and bifurcation
We study stationary and axially symmetric black hole-disk systems, assuming a
combination of the DD2 and Timmes-Swesty equations of state and a
three-parameter family of rotation laws. There exist two branches of solutions
that are shown to bifurcate, for a suitable specific entropy and a parameter in
the rotation law. Low entropy nuclear matter allows for the existence of
moderately massive Keplerian disks.Comment: 13 pages, 12 figure
General-relativistic rotation: self-gravitating fluid tori in motion around black holes
We obtain from the first principles a general-relativistic Keplerian rotation
law for self-gravitating disks around spinning black holes. This is an
extension of a former rotation law that was designed mainly for toroids around
spin-less black holes. We integrate numerically axial stationary Einstein
equations with self-gravitating disks around spinless or spinning black holes;
that includes the first ever integration of the Keplerian selfgravitating tori.
This construction can be used for the description of tight black hole-torus
systems produced during coalescences of two neutron stars or modelling of
compact active galactic nuclei.Comment: Matches published versio
Self-gravitating perfect-fluid tori around black holes: Bifurcations, ergoregions, and geometrical properties
We investigate models of stationary, selfgravitating, perfect-fluid tori
(disks) rotating around black holes, focusing on geometric properties of
spacetime. The models are constructed within the general-relativistic
hydrodynamics, assuming differential (Keplerian) rotation of the fluid. We
discuss a parametric bifurcation occurring in the solution space, different
possible configurations of ergoregions (including toroidal ergoregions
associated with the tori), nonmonotonicity of the circumferential radius, as
well as the impact of the torus gravity on the location of the innermost stable
circular orbit.Comment: 16 pages, 25 figures, 3 table
przemyto i zdezynfekowano. Dziecko zaintubowano
i wprowadzono oddychanie za pomocą respiratora. Wyniki kilkakrotnie
Chora otrzymała jednak surowicę i szczepionkę
przeciw wściekliźnie, a ponadto acyklowir.
Etiologia schorzenia pozostaje nieznana
The Gravitational Waves in Cosmology and the Huygens Principle
The linearized Einstein equations describing the gravitational wave in Regge-Wheeler gauge for cosmological background have been obtained and analyzed. Their consistency has been proven and the wave equation for axial and polar modes obtained. The question of the influence of the metric perturbations on the matter has been investigated as well as the conditions of the fulfillment of the Huygens principle in dependence on the size of the initial support of the gravitational wave. The numerical calculations have been carried out for both dust and de-Sitter universe
Is there binding energy in Schwarzschild-de Sitter Spacetime?
Zbadano kwestię akrecji sferycznej w czasoprzestrzeni Schwarzschilda-de Sittera z uwzględnieniem „back reaction”; przedmiotem badań była stosowalność definicji energii wiązania (zaczerpniętej z modeli wnętrza gwiazd) Ew:=B-m. I studied accretion in Schwarzschild-de Sitter Spacetime including back reaction regarding the usefulness of binding energy definition (taken from modeling of star interior) Ew=B-m. I used a polytropic gas with the following equation of state: p= Kρ0Γ with K=1 and different values of Γ. I also used comoving coordinates. Within the physical interval of Γϵ(1;5/3) I found only accretion solutions with negative values of Ew. Solutions with positive values of Ew were found only for Γ2,8. Therefore, I put forward a hypothesis that positive values of Ew confirm unphysical character of these solutions. The second hypothesis is that within the physical interval of Γ for accretion solutions Ew is always negative
