Microstructure of vanadium alloys after irradiation at 700℃

The swelling of a series of V-Fe alloys has been studied after irradiation at 700℃ in JMTR. The alloy V-5%Fe showed the largest swelling among all V-Fe alloys studied. The dislocation structure changes drastically by adding only 1 at.% of iron. The effect of iron on the microstructural evolution has been discussed in terms of the stabilization of crowdion configuration of self-interstitial atoms in the vicinity of an edge dislocation

Launching the Credentialed Evaluator (CE) Designation

How do you make a professional designation program happen within one year? What resources, processes, systems, and structures are required? This article describes how the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES) implemented its national Credentialed Evaluator (CE) program through the dedication of volunteer members of the CES. The interdisciplinary nature of evaluation practice shaped the development of systems, policy, administrative procedures, governance, and management for the credentialing process. Consideration of political issues and communication with the stakeholder community were essential to the credibility of the implementation process. Comment mettre sur pied un programme de titres professionnels en une seule année? Quelles ressources et structures, quels processus et systèmes sont nécessaires? Cet article décrit le processus d’implantation du titre d’Évaluateur accrédité, grâce au dévouement de membres bénévoles de la Société canadienne d’évaluation. La nature interdisciplinaire de l’évaluation a façonné la conception d’un système, de politiques, procédures administratives, gouvernance, et gestion pour le processus d’accréditation. Identifying essential competencies for evaluators has received significant attention in recent years yet practical examples of how to apply competencies to real-time learning in complex environments are lacking. In particular, the experience of those at the local level - ultimate beneficiary individuals (UBIs) - can get lost when evaluations take a systems perspective. 芸術系大学における情報プラットフォームの構築/「アート&デザイン情報図書館」の実験から

本稿の目的は、芸術系大学における情報プラットフォーム構築の実践的な研究の場である「アート&デザイン情報図書館」の趣旨と諸機能について詳述することである。変化する現代の情報環境において、オンラインも含めた情報プラットフォームの構築は急務であり、「アート&デザイン情報図書館」は、その一つの回答と位置づけられる。情報プラットフォームとしての「アート&デザイン情報図書館」は、最新の成果が公開されるメディアとしての展覧会を主たるコンテンツに据え、特別講義や公開講座、さらには関連の専門図書の情報を集約し、広く一般に公開されている。また展覧会、イベント、新製品発表等に関するウェブ上のニュース記事の収集も同時に行われている。図書館の新着図書を表紙画像付きで配信する仕組みや「関西ギャラリーマップ」など実験的な要素を折り込みつつ、「観る」、「聴く」、「読む」のそれぞれの領域において実現された教育支援は、従来の図書館の範囲を大きく超えるとともに、情報の編集を積極的に行うキュラトリアルな実践である。The purpose of this text is to explain an outline and various functions of ” Art & Design Information Library ” and its practical research on the information platform construction at a university of art & design. In a changing modern informational environment, construction of information platform including online is a pressing need, and ” Art & Design Information Library ” is considered as one possible solution.In this platform which is open to the public, the main content is the information on current exhibitions as they are seen as media reflecting on the latest trend. Additionally, information on special lecture and relevant books are listed. Online news articles concerning exhibitions, events, and new product releases are listed at the same time. A new way of promoting learning has been established through the use of mechanism presenting cover images of newly-arrived books at the university library and the gallery map in Kansai region; the contents achieved in each area of “See”, “Listen”, and “Read”. This platform actively engages with experimental editorial and curatorial practices beyond the scope of conventional library domain
