The authors conducted a scientific and economic experience in LLC "Alyona". For research on the principle of analogues from chickens of the Rhodonite-2 cross, 2 groups (400 heads each) were formed from the daily age, taking into account gender, body weight and physiological condition. The duration of rearing of the repair young was 17 weeks, after which the bird was transferred to the laying hens workshop. The planting density, light mode, and feeding front of birds of all groups were the same and corresponded to the norms of VNITIP. Feeding was carried out with the same full-fledged compound feed, balanced in all nutrients and metabolic energy, with the inclusion of a probiotic SUB-PRO in the feed mixture of the experimental group. The introduction of a probiotic into the diet when raising chickens up to 13 weeks of age ensured a higher safety of young animals in the experimental group. The addition of a probiotic reduced feed costs. During the growing period of 1-13 weeks, feed costs per 1 kg of growth were lower in the experimental group, by 3.3% for 14-21 weeks and by 3.9% during the experiment period

Licensee MDPI, Basel, Switzerland.Chronic HCV infection and associated liver cancer impose a heavy burden on the healthcare system. Direct acting antivirals eliminate HCV, unless it is drug resistant, and partially reverse liver disease, but they cannot cure HCV-related cancer. A possible remedy could be a multi-component immunotherapeutic vaccine targeting both HCV-infected and malignant cells, but also those not infected with HCV. To meet this need we developed a two-component DNA vaccine based on the highly conserved core protein of HCV to target HCV-infected cells, and a renowned tumor-associated antigen telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) based on the rat TERT, to target malignant cells. Their synthetic genes were expression-optimized, and HCV core was truncated after aa 152 (Core152opt) to delete the domain interfering with immunogenicity. Core152opt and TERT DNA were highly immunogenic in BALB/c mice, inducing IFN-γ/IL-2/TNF-α response of CD4+ and CD8+ T cells. Additionally, DNA-immunization with TERT enhanced cellular immune response against luciferase encoded by a co-delivered plasmid (Luc DNA). However, DNA-immunization with Core152opt and TERT mix resulted in abrogation of immune response against both components. A loss of bioluminescence signal after co-delivery of TERT and Luc DNA into mice indicated that TERT affects the in vivo expression of luciferase directed by the immediate early cytomegalovirus and interferon-β promoters. Panel of mutant TERT variants was created and tested for their expression effects. TERT with deleted N-terminal nucleoli localization signal and mutations abrogating telomerase activity still suppressed the IFN-β driven Luc expression, while the inactivated reverse transcriptase domain of TERT and its analogue, enzymatically active HIV-1 reverse transcriptase, exerted only weak suppressive effects, implying that suppression relied on the presence of the full-length/nearly full-length TERT, but not its enzymatic activity. The effect(s) could be due to interference of the ectopically expressed xenogeneic rat TERT with biogenesis of mRNA, ribosomes and protein translation in murine cells, affecting the expression of immunogens. HCV core can aggravate this effect, leading to early apoptosis of co-expressing cells, preventing the induction of immune response.publishersversionPeer reviewe

The study of consumer properties and preservation of meat products using plant-based substances as preservative additives, in particular Icelandic moss and milk thistle, is of practical and theoretical interest, they contribute to an increase in the shelf life of perishable meat products at low storage temperatures. The study of the effect of extracts of Icelandic cetraria and milk thistle on the qualitative characteristics of meat products is of great interest to meat industry technologists. As a result of the research, the positive effect of milk thistle extract and Icelandic moss on consumer characteristics, microbiological indicators, antioxidant properties and shelf life of meat semi-finished products has been established, which can be increased to four months against the boundary three months of GOST. Its optimal concentration for introduction into the formulations of meat semi-finished products in an amount of 1%, in the form of a 10% aqueous solution, is justified. The introduction of milk thistle extract and Icelandic moss in an amount of 1% in the form of a 10% aqueous solution into the formulation of meat products will increase the shelf life, organoleptic evaluation, while the cost of their production will increase by only 1.7%, which can be compensated by a higher price for the product due to the better consumer characteristics of meat products. The profitability of the experimental products was higher by 9.5% compared to the GOST

The authors conducted research to identify the sources of formation of sand massifs, which then become the main cause of desertification of the territories of Kizlyar pastures, in order to carry out protective measures. In the article, the authors present materials confirming desertification and its ecological aspects. The ecological state of arid territories of Russia is one of the most acute problems that requires constant monitoring. Global changes in climatic conditions have a significant impact on the functioning of terrestrial ecosystems, including the soil cover. With the warming of the climate, the development of the processes of wind erosion and soil salinization increases. As a result, the pastures of Kizlyar were driven into extreme conditions. Pastures have come to an extremely critical state, and the degree of degradation of damage caused by these processes is much higher than other regions of the European South of Russia. The ecological situation of the territory is deteriorating rapidly. According to various estimates, large areas of them are occupied by open sands – 60.0 - 71.3 thousand hectares. As the analysis of the experience of the work carried out on the Kizlyar pastures shows, their effectiveness was extremely low, and in some places they contributed to the strengthening of the development of natural degradation processes. As a result, destabilizing factors have emerged that ensure the production of established phytocenoses, worsening conditions and progressing every year. At present, there are practically no improved pasture lands with natural vegetation in the Tersk-Kum lowland. In the current situation, the priority is to stop the activity of moving sands, as well as to improve the state of the species diversity of vegetation, otherwise, if these processes continue at the same pace, it may endanger the very existence of pastures and the basis of life in this territory

The temporal specifics of the transitions to youth maturity

    Get PDF
Youth, as a stage of a person's life path, is the most intense period in terms of age transitions. Despite the presence of many transitions, most researchers identify several basic age transitions. The current stage of development of society is characterized by the complication, lengthening, increasing variability and risks of liminality (incompleteness) of age transitions. The time characteristics of their commission are changing. The temporal component of the features of secondary socialization remains poorly understood, which increases the risks of inefficiency of youth support and assistance programs. In this article, based on the conducted research, the temporal specificity of age transitions of modern youth is analyzed. The study was conducted on a sample of 484 people aged 18 to 40 years. Multistage selection.the time characteristics of their commission. The questionnaire method. The results obtained allow us to conclude that there is a general "delay" in leaving childhood. The duration of the period of youth itself is highly likely to stretch over the entire period of maturity. The risks of liminality of basic transitions to maturity have been identified. In the opinion of young respondents about the optimal time for making specific transitions, both the reproduction of previously formed norms remains (the connection of sexual debut with adulthood, entry into the labor market with financial independence), and the consolidation of established practices is planned (the temporary gap between sexual debut and marriage, the formation of one's own family and the birth of a child)
