SOCIO-ECONOMIC BARRIERS AND DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES OF ELECTROMOBILITY AS KEY TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION OF TRANSPORTATION

    Get PDF
Electromobility is currently the most dynamic and developing technological innovation in the field of the passenger and freight transportation. Key aspects of its dynamic development include especially the operational costs of electric vehicles and the ecologization of transportation by using electric-drive vehicles. For the above-mentioned key aspects, the more massive increase in the use of electromobility is recorded especially in the field of “city logistics”. Our research activities are dedicated to identifying barriers and opportunities of sale promotion and using of electric vehicles by conventional transport users. Consumers consider many factors when buying a car, but in terms of the automotive market, purchasing power of the population and marketing support of electromobility in the Slovak Republic, the aspect of ecology of transportation and long-term cost efficiency are not the primary criteria for their decision-making process. We conducted primary quantitative pre-research by inquiry method via standardized online questionnaire that addressed some topics: (1) consumer interest in environmental protection; (2) consumer awareness and knowledge about electromobility; and (3) consumer buying behaviour in the context of electromobility development. Based on the results of consumer pre-research and analysis of legislative, economic and social conditions, the aim of this paper is to identify barriers and possibilities for development of electromobility and to suggest recommendations for the automotive industry (manufacturers and retailers of electric vehicles, associations of electromobility, companies providing electric vehicle services (charging stations), government institutions and the non-profit sector

Obecná část bakalářské práce obsahuje teoretické poznatky o skeletu a muskulatuře bérce a nohy. Kapitola Výsledky popisuje výstupní kineziologické rozbory a průběh terapie a zhodnocují efektivitu samotné terapie. The general part of this thesis contains the theoretical findings about the skeleton and musculature of the lower leg and foot. The part focused on the traumatology describes the non-specific part and subsequently the various kinds of fractures and other injuries in the area of an ankle. Furthermore, information on the therapy of fractures and their surgical solution in the case of dislocated fractures is included. Methodology is a separate chapter, the purpose of which is to describe all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures used in the practical part of the thesis. The special part consists of four case studies of separate patients. It contains the complete entry kinesiologic examination and the description of all ten therapy units that patients took part in. The chapter Results describes the final kinesiologic examination and the course of therapy and assesses the effectiveness of the therapy itself

This article brings the author ́s personal experience of training in art psychotherapy at a British university and returning to her home country Slovakia. The article presents the historical context of Slovakia on political, social and psychological levels and the impact of these factors on the development of art therapy. Art therapy training in Slovakia is scoped from early beginnings to the present day, mentioning organisations and individual people ́s contributions to contemporary art therapy. The author scrutinizes the place of art therapy in the Slovakian mental health system and is questioning of the current understanding of art therapy within Slovakia. The article is concluded by a discussion about the future of the art therapy profession in Slovakia and the task of finding possibilities through the author ́s personal engagement. Keywords: Art therapy, Training, Slovakia, Political change, Professional recognition.

The thesis is dedicated to study of nonlinear parametric models for financial time series. It contains the summary of basic terms of this issues in brief. The next part is dedicated to the survey of different linear and nonlinear models with description of their basic features. Threshold autoregressive model and bilinear model are presented in details. For these two models, basic features, tests for linearity and estimations are introduced. The practical part is based on the theory described in previous chapters. Particular tests for linearity for both models and estimated instruments are analysed on simulated and real data.Department of Probability and Mathematical StatisticsKatedra pravděpodobnosti a matematické statistikyFaculty of Mathematics and PhysicsMatematicko-fyzikální fakult

CONSUMER KNOWLEDGE ABOUT FOOD LABELLING IN SLOVAKIA

The presented paper deals with the food labelling from the consumers’ point of view. Food labels play important role in the distribution chain. They help consumers to get information necessary for their deliberate food choice. On the other hand, food producers can promote and communicate basic information and specific characteristics of pre-packed food through the food labels. We conducted primary quantitative research by inquiry method via standardized online questionnaire that addressed three topics: (1) consumer interest, (2) consumer awareness and (3) consumer information and knowledge. In this paper we focus on evaluation of partial research results with the aim to find out an information and knowledge level of consumers about food labelling in Slovakia. The research results (published in Krnáčová, 2016) show us that 87% of consumers in Slovakia are interested in food labelling. Furthermore, over 95% of consumers read information stated on the food labels. In general, they do not know mandatory particulars that food producers have to label on food package in accordance with legislative requirements. The partial results in the presented paper show what information sources consumers use to learn about food quality and food safety. The results, among other facts, also reveal a lack of food labelling information in the market and misleading/deceptive labelling from consumers´ point of view. The paper is prepared within the scientific project VEGA No. 1/0134/14 entitled “Promoting innovation in distribution processes through implementing modern technologies and optimization of logistics activities with a focus on reducing the burden on the environment and improving the life quality”
