Implementation of Automated Training & Placement
Training and placement is the crucial part of any educational institutes in which most of the work till now is being done manually. The aim of this project is that automation of training and placement department that will include minimum manual work and maximum optimization abstraction security. This is the web application as well as mobile application which can use in the android operating system as well as IOS operating system it is developed in ionic framework[1]. Students need to register in this application by filling all basic details like email_id, enrollment number etc. After successful registration students can able to logged into the system and after login he/she need to update his/her profile[4]. Also in this students can able to view company details. The training and placement department contains all the information about the students. The system stores all the personal information of the students like their personal details, qualification details and academic details. Also Admin can able to update the company details. In this project student get the notifications about the companies coming for the campus via SMS and email listing out the students as per company?s criteria provides all the details of the interview[8]. This project reduces the human efforts and maintaining large amount of data properly
A Preliminary Study on the Potential of Manuka Honey and Platelet-Rich Plasma in Wound Healing
Aim. The purpose of this study was to determine the in vitro response of cells critical to the wound healing process in culture media supplemented with a lyophilized preparation rich in growth factors (PRGF) and Manuka honey. Materials and Methods. This study utilized cell culture media supplemented with PRGF, as well as whole Manuka honey and the medical-grade Medihoney (MH), a Manuka honey product. The response of human fibroblasts (hDF), macrophages, and endothelial cells (hPMEC) was evaluated, with respect to cell proliferation, chemotaxis, collagen matrix production, and angiogenic potential, when subjected to culture with media containing PRGF, MH, Manuka honey, and a combination of PRGF and MH. Results. All three cell types demonstrated increases in cellular activity in the presence of PRGF, with further increases in activity seen in the presence of PRGF+MH. hDFs proved to be the most positively responsive cells, as they experienced enhanced proliferation, collagen matrix production, and migration into an in vitro wound healing model with the PRGF+MH-supplemented media. Conclusion. This preliminary in vitro study is the first to evaluate the combination of PRGF and Manuka honey, two products with the potential to increase regeneration individually, as a combined product to enhance dermal regeneration

Supportive Care and Symptom Management for Patients With Immunoglobulin Light Chain (AL) Amyloidosis
Immunoglobulin light chain (AL) amyloidosis is a disorder of clonal plasma cells characterized by deposition of amyloid fibrils in a variety of tissues, leading to end-organ injury. Renal or cardiac involvement is most common, though any organ outside the central nervous system can develop amyloid deposition, and symptomatic presentations may consequently vary. The variability and subtlety of initial clinical presentations may contribute to delayed diagnoses, and organ involvement is often quite advanced and symptomatic by the time a diagnosis is established. Additionally, while organ function can improve with plasma-cell-directed therapy, such improvement lags behind hematologic response. Consequently, highly effective supportive care, including symptom management, is essential to improve quality of life and to maximize both tolerance of therapy and likelihood of survival. Considering the systemic nature of the disease, close collaboration between clinicians is essential for effective management

Georeferenced soil information system: assessment of database
Land-use planning is a decision-making process that
facilitates the allocation of land to different uses that
provide optimal and sustainable benefit. As land-use
is shaped by society–nature interaction, in land-use
planning different components/facets play a significant
role involving soil, water, climate, animal (ruminant/
non-ruminant) and others, including forestry
and the environment needed for survival of mankind.
At times these components are moderated by human
interference. Thus land-use planning being a dynamic
phenomenon is not guided by a single factor, but by a
complex system working simultaneously,which largely
affects the sustainability. To address such issues a
National Agricultural Innovation Project (NAIP) on
‘Georeferenced soil information system for land-use
planning and monitoring soil and land quality for
agriculture’ was undertaken to develop threshold
values of land quality parameters for land-use planning
through quantitative land evaluation and crop
modelling for dominant cropping systems in major
agro-ecological sub-regions (AESRs) representing
rice–wheat cropping system in the Indo-Gangetic
Plains (IGP) and deep-rooted crops in the black
soil regions (BSR). To assess the impact of landuse
change, threshold land quality indicator values
are used. A modified AESR map for agricultural landuse
planning is generated for effective land-use planning
Soil information system: use and potentials in humid and semi-arid tropics
The articles presented in this special section emanated from the researches of consortium members of the National Agricultural Innovative Project (NAIP, Component 4) of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi. These researches have helped develop a soil information system (SIS). In view of the changing scenario all over the world, the need of the hour is to get assistance from a host of researchers specialized in soils, crops, geology, geography and information technology to make proper use of the datasets. Equipped with the essential knowledge of data storage and retrieval for management recommendations, these experts should be able to address the issues of land degradation, biodiversity, food security, climate change and ultimately arrive at an appropriate agricultural land-use planning. Moreover, as the natural resource information is an essential prerequisite for monitoring and predicting global environmental change with special reference to climate and land use options, the SIS needs to be a dynamic exercise to accommodate temporal datasets, so that subsequently it should result in the evolution of the soil information technology. The database developed through this NAIP would serve as an example of the usefulness of the Consortium and the research initiative of ICAR involving experts from different fields to find out the potentials of the soils of humid and semi-arid bioclimatic systems of the country
Electrospinning and its influence on the structure of polymeric nanofibers
Electrospinning is a process of creating solid continuous fibers of material with diameter in the micro- to nanometer range by using electric fields. Electrospinning has attracted increased attention in the past few years in a broad range of biomedical and industrial applications due to the ease of forming fibers with a wide range of properties. This chapter discusses the basic electrospinning technique and the factors that influence the process and the resulting nanofibers. Information on the creation of various types of nanofibers (such as hollow, helical, porous, flat, aligned, non-woven and conductive) has also been provided. The section on fiber structure describes some of the unique features of electrospun fibers. The chapter ends with a description of the impact of structure on the properties of fibers (such as mechanical, thermal, transport and surface)
