Design of the System to Control a Vibratory Machine for Mixing Loose Materials
Based on the analysis of special features in the implementation of process of mixing a loose material, we have proven a prospect of using vibratory machines. The application of vibratory machines for mixing loose materials makes it possible to increase performance efficiency of the machine, reduce its energy consumption and improve quality of the obtained mixture. Intensive oscillatory motion of controlling elements of the vibratory machine contributes to the creation of a circulating transportation of mixture in the processing zone and ensures destruction of coagulated structures of the treated material. To ensure the highly-dynamic state during treatment of a material, regardless of the physical-mechanical properties of raw materials and the degree of its loading, we designed a system of control over operational parameters of the vibratory machine. The designed system improves control systems based on the adapted vibration drive that may enable a change in the arrangement of its unbalanced masses during operation of the vibratory machine. However, the shortcoming of these systems is the assessment of amplitude-frequency characteristics of the machine only. In contrast, in the proposed system, the monitoring unit runs a comprehensive analysis of kinematic and speed characteristics of both the machine and the dynamic state of the treated material. The proposed control system includes the unit for active analysis of the dynamic state of oscillatory system and the control unit over a drive mechanism of the vibratory machine. Functional interaction between specified units, depending on the type of a raw material, ensures independent adaptation of the vibratory machine to the technologically optimal parameters of its work.By using designed control system, we obtained operational parameters for the kinematic and speed indicators of the vibratory machine for preparing a premix, which ensure high homogeneity of the resulting mixture at minimum energy consumption for its preparation. Specifically, at angular velocity of drive shaft ω=110−120 rad∙s-1and oscillation amplitude A=2.0−2.2 mm, homogeneity of the resulting mixture of premix is 96−98 %. Total energy consumption for these indicators is equal to 1,250 W•
TECHNOLOGY Development of Fatty Acids Obtaining From Soapstok Using Saponification
The processing of oil refining waste is essential from economic and environmental points of view. An important issue is the processing of soapstock to extract fatty acids, which are raw materials for various industries.
The two-stage method of fatty acids obtaining from soapstock using saponification with sodium hydroxide solution and decomposition with sulfuric acid is investigated.
The peculiarity of the work is the study of the influence of soapstock saponification conditions on the key efficiency indicators of fatty acid extraction: yield and neutralization number.
A sample of soapstock was obtained as a result of alkaline neutralization of sunflower oil. Soapstock quality corresponds to DSTU 5033 (CAS 68952-95-4): mass fraction of total fat – 68.5 %, fatty acids – 62.6 %, neutral fat – 5.9 %.
Rational saponification conditions were determined: duration (85 min.) and concentration of sodium hydroxide solution (45 %). After saponification, the soapstock was subjected to decomposition with sulfuric acid under the following conditions: temperature 90 °C, duration 40 min. Under the rational saponification conditions, the yield of fatty acids (91.8 %) and the neutralization number (187.1 mg KOH/g) were determined. The obtained fatty acids correspond to the first-grade fatty acids according to DSTU 4860 (CAS 61788-66-7). Acid indicators: mass fraction of moisture and volatile substances – 1.5 %, mass fraction of total fat – 98.0 %, cleavage depth – 69.2 % oleic acid.
The use of the soapstock saponification stage before decomposition leads to an improvement in the quality indicators and an increase in the neutralization number of fatty acids by 4 %, yield – by 16.2 %.
The results of the study make it possible to produce fatty acids from soapstock by two-stage technology with high yield and neutralization numbe
PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE ROAD TRANSPORT COMPLEX: FINANCING, MANAGEMENT, INNOVATION, QUALITY, SAFETY – INTEGRATED APPROACH
The monograph focuses on the problems and prospects of development of the road transport complex on the basis of the integrated approach. In Ukraine, the road transport system is one of the priority ones. However, its priority status is reflected only in numerous regulations. In such conditions the necessity of realization of scientific achievements and practical recommendations of development of the road transport system as a whole is actualized. The integrated approach to financing, management, innovation, quality and security has been applied.
In order to eliminate the regional imbalance in the development of the state, as an urgent measure, methodological principles of support for weak regions have been substantiated and developed, which envisages its implementation in the short term. It is proposed to determine the rating of the best educational institutions in the region on the basis of mathematical modeling. Relevant clusters of educational institutions of the region have been established and systematized, taking into account their sectoral significance, form of ownership, efficiency of state funding and the amount of own revenues. Methodological support for quality management of transport and logistics services has been developed, which includes a certain procedure and a set of appropriate methods for implementing this activity based on the application of the scenario approach and algorithmization of procedures for obtaining possible states of operation of modern transport and logistics sector objects. A set of functional subsystems of an enterprise by analogy with the systems of a living organism, the activity of which is interdependent, which ensures the stability of the «living organism» of the enterprise to the influence of external conditions has been formed. The process of determining and assessing the competencies of employees on the basis of the modern assessment technology «Assessment Center» has been formed. The program of development of corporate social responsibility at internal and external levels of implementation taking into account features of various groups of stakeholders is offered. The combined safety management system «behavior + transport status + infrastructure + permanent monitoring + post-accident services» is offered.
The proposed theoretical, methodological and applied aspects of the development of the road transport system are of theoretical and practical interest to scientists, entrepreneurs and government agencies
