    Behavior of bearing reinforced concrete panels in the process of combined action

    This research of has important significance in the constructive solution, manufacturing technology and labour costs. The irreversible changes in mechanical properties occur in reinforced concrete elements, decrease in compressive and tensile strength, additional deflections. In this paper, the goal was to assess the behavior of the bearing reinforced concrete panels with a combined action (fire and force) as close as possible to the actual effect in a fire. It was necessary to solve the following tasks: to determine the dependence of deflection and deflection rate on the heating of the plate and the load acting on the panel, to determine the amount of concrete falling before breaking the integrity of the panel (the formation of through cracks, determine the degree of heating of the panel from the duration of fire and force

    The issue of raising the level of safety of people, lands and property from potential threats in emergency situations in oil and gas storage and processing sites is particular concern to all levels of authority in countries, whether they are legal or executive authority. Study of the statistical data of incidents and fires at these equipment showed that the most negative effects for the damage to the company’s personnel, the population and the environment occurred during the quasi-instantaneous destruction of the vertical steel tank. The distinguishing features of such an accident are the complete loss of the integrity of the vertical oil tank hull and the release of all the liquid stored in the tank in the form of a powerful flow (breakout wave), which has a great destructive power, to the adjacent territory within a short term of time. The most important measures to reduce oil and petroleum products leakage in tank farms are reinforced earth dams and closed walls made of materials that are vulnerable to heat (important in the case of fire), Which led to many unsolvable cases.     Selection justification of the wood pulp and crown combustion parameters for the calculation of the crown forest fires impact on Vietnamese energy facilities

    The selection of specific carbon monoxide generation rate and specific mass gasification rate values is necessary for mathematical modeling of crown forest fires and their thermal effects on Vietnamese energy facilities. The study presents results from experiments on burning trunk wood pulp and crown samples of the most common deciduous and coniferous trees in Vietnam. Specific carbon monoxide generation rate and specific mass gasification rate were measured for wood and crown samples under flame combustion mode. The experimental results were compared with literature values, and it was found that the time-average experimental values of specific mass gasification rate fell within the range specified in the fire load database by Koshmarov 2000 for both coniferous and deciduous trees

    Rational creation of the consumer quality of constructions, which is taking into account some cultural, historical and other, accepted for society development paradigms enters to replace mass sustainable development of the industry of a construction in case of development of the recreational territories around megalopolises, using intellectual systems in a construction, ecological, energy-saving technologies in increase in a consumer evaluation of quality. For the residential development of the recreational territories of cities it is important to provide not only complex conditions of their development, to keep their potential for future generations, providing their social-and-economic development, to consider national and climatic features, but also to use their potential opportunities and traditions of the people inhabiting them, rationally and economically. The educated development of the construction industry is the new term entered into the use of constructors, when the consumer quality of building and structures meets national preferences taking into account traditions and advanced achievements in the use of materials, architectural and project decisions, production technologies and climatic opportunities with the minimum damage to the environment. Its accomplishment assumes enhancement and introduction of local-and-standard regulation with implementation of innovative solutions

    The industrial safety system at JSC Russian Railways has been developing for decades. In the new economic conditions, many of its basic principles have been preserved, but new factors have emerged that require scientific analysis, experimental verification, and modern technological tools. In the course of the research, an assessment was made of labour safety situation at the energy sites of electrified lines of railways with particular regard to the use of a removable insulating tower for catenary repairs, assessment of high voltage hazards for employees, peculiarities of construction of fire protection compartments, fire risk calculations. It is concluded that the calculation of an individual fire risk cannot be used as a necessary and sufficiently autonomous basis for substantiating the size of fire compartments. The removable insulating tower carriage and shunt rod developed atRussianUniversityof Transport are presented. Many conclusions have general character and are of universal interest.Система промышленной безопасности в ОАО «РЖД» складывалась десятилетиями. В новых экономических условиях многие её базовые принципы сохранились, но появились и те факторы, которые требуют научного анализа, экспериментальной проверки, современных технологических средств.
